Typical local cuisine, reasonable wait, the cold cuts platter is all in all limited to 3 specialties, the pasta is good, the cheeses are also generous portions.

We ate very well, the staff were very attentive and kind.

The platter was excellent, the cereal soup was delicious, and the vegetarian meatballs were not only tasty but also hearty. Reasonable prices and good service. A welcoming little place for both couples and groups.

An old-world atmosphere for a traditional restaurant, far removed from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism! As soon as we entered, the atmosphere and the warm, wood-toned decor welcomed us like a big hug! The service was fast and very attentive. The food was truly delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices!

We had dinner here in early January. We were looking for a place with Umbrian options, but not just the usual options found everywhere. I'm a vegetarian, and finding options that aren't truffle or mushroom-based isn't easy. Here, however, we found a wide selection (the menu is attached). We had scamorza al coccio with walnuts and honey as an appetizer, and for our first courses, strangozzi brancaleone and pasta with Umbrian herb pesto. Finally, we shared a second course, the vegetable lasagna. Everything was exceptional: quality ingredients, impeccable service, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it.

Lunch with the family 5.1.26, simple, good and reasonably priced

Despite the late hour, close to closing time, they still welcomed us into their restaurant. This restaurant offers traditional dishes, making it perfect for those seeking a local culinary experience. The meat and sautéed herbs deserve special mention.

I’ve just returned to my apartment in Assisi from dinner at the Ristorante Degli Orti in Assisi and feel I owe them a review. Since 2018 I have visited Assisi 5 times (about 74 nights) and have eaten at Degli Orti at least once on each visit. I’ve never been disappointed in the least with the food or service. This evening I wanted something different so I ordered the Lasagne Di Verdure (Vegetable Lasagna). I wanted something different and this was. It was prepared with no pasta, just layers of vegetables and a light tomato sauce (and possibly some other secret ingredient that I could not identify). It was just what I wanted. I’ve eaten some excellent pasta dishes the past 16 evenings and this evening was a wonderful change. Not only was the food great, but the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. I cannot ask for more. We made reservations for another evening and look forward to more visits to Ristorante Degli Orti in Assisi.
