Quaint restaurant with outdoor seating in Assisi’s side streets. Recommended by our hotel, we received an easy discount. Friendly service, good house wine, nice appetizers and tasty pasta. I wanted to try a local dish, so I ordered their strangozzi al tartufo (truffle pasta) and enjoyed it.

The ambiance is worthy of a 5-star restaurant, though it's a shame the fan blades are covered in a thick layer of black dust. I gave it 3 stars. The food is very good, and the service is attentive. Average.

Absolutely delicious food! The staff speaks some English and is very kind. We ordered the regional ragu pasta and the fowl, both with the red house wine and a desert. Fully recommend and we hope to come back!

20/11/2025: The restaurant is located in the square in front of the fountain, a beautiful setting. The restaurant is not very large, but it's welcoming. The table setting is very well-designed, with decorative plates; the tables are small. The menu isn't extensive, and choosing can be difficult due to the unique flavors. The food is decent; honestly, I would have expected more, especially considering the slightly above-average prices. The service was professional, but rather cold and clinical. It was unpleasant to hear the staff chattering in the kitchen.
17/11/2025: We loved this restaurant! We ate their twice during our stay weeks stay in Panicale, a charming hillside town. It was was off season in November so we were able to walk in without a reservation. The food was excellent, non-traditional Italian cuisine with a great wine selection and the service was great. The commute was fantastic as it was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. We will definitely go back on our next trip back to Panicale. We definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area or staying in town.
