Ristorante Da Teresa In Caserta

Large restaurant in Casa Hirtam, that is, old Caserta, with a truly unique view, especially at sunset, with excellent food and good service!!

We have come to this restaurant several times over the years, today we had Christmas lunch there for the second time in the warmth of the fireplace. We didn't choose the fixed menu, but we ordered the first courses, the meat and the lemon delight. Everything was good, the prices are a little high but correspond to the quality, especially in the case of the meat. We took a portion of excellent black pig, and a portion of delicacy of meat (a mixed meat, special veal), proposed for two people, but we divided it for 4 people and it was more than enough. The only flaw was the kebabs which, coming from Abruzzo, were not up to the standard of the authentic ones, but apart from that, friendly waiter, pleasant environment and excellent food. I recommend it and we will return again

Classic place to welcome tourists, we ate pasta with potatoes and provola (excellent, recommended), tripe with potatoes (delete, not recommended).... The pizza-paposcia looks like a focaccia with ham on top, tastes good.... .to get bread we had to ask 3 waiters for it

Amazing food in a paradise on earth. The owner and waiters are super sweet. We ordered a mix of starters and they brought something like 10 different dishes ranging from seafood to small pizzas. Highly recommended!!!

The paposcia is truly exceptional and the place has a beautiful panoramic terrace. However the prices are high.

I sincerely hope for the owner to lower the prices of both the cover charge (€3.50) and the pizzas. The only positive note: the view. It must be said that for €3.50 cover charge I am not hoping to find paper tablecloths but rather fabric ones. Leaving this aside and after seeing the menu, precisely because I consider myself a respectable person, I only ordered two daisies for the girls, a bottle of water and a beer for the sole price of €42 Not even in Amalfi have I ever paid €10 for a margherita 😲

We were there this evening after taking a tour of Caserta Vecchia and I must say that although the prices may seem a little high (Margherita 10 Euros) in my opinion it is worth it... Very good and light pizza, kind and courteous waiters and a truly stunning panoramic view. I recommend you go there and we will definitely be back!

Set in the spectacular old Caserta. An ancient village definitely worth visiting, this pizza restaurant has a wonderful terrace overlooking the plain of the city of Caserta. Eating like this without infamy and without praise. The pizzas are good but there is very little choice. And they don't make different pizzas on request.

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in! As an Italian from Milan, trust me when I say this place is amazing. I saw some mixed reviews but honestly, I wouldn’t trust foreigners (*cough* Americans) on this. The restaurant owners comes from a food devoted family (Teresa, the name of the restaurant and the name of the owner’s mother). The owners is an expert when it comes to choosing the best quality of meat, he grows his own vegetables, makes his own wine and train his cooks himself. He lived there his own life so when I went there with my family we fully trusted his recommendations and, god, they didn’t disappoint. Instead of pizza, I recommend to try paposcia, which is the original pizza dough. The mozzarella cheese is a must, just like the homemade wine. Everything was truly fresh and divine, the main waitress was a very kind woman which guarantees you the best service. We went for lunch and we stumbled into this place casually while visiting the town and we loved it so much we had to come back a few days later for dinner. We were given the best table (ask for the paradise table) with the best view ever. I truly think this place it’s a whole experience on his own and you should definitely try it!
