A wonderful experience. The owner is truly kind and friendly, as is all the staff. High-quality food. A welcoming atmosphere in the beautiful Casertavecchia. You can't visit Casertavecchia without sampling the excellent dishes at this restaurant.

Food is good but very overpriced. Added costs are included in your bill. A large menu was in place but only few items were available. More good places some metres away.

We ate very well, despite the reviews we saw before going in that didn't look promising. The food was actually excellent and quite plentiful, the prices were reasonable (obviously, you're also paying for the magnificent view), and the owners were very kind. Delicious! (The photo doesn't really do it justice because the lighting was a bit odd.)

The restaurant is rustic in style, with plenty of seating and a lovely roof garden overlooking the Royal Palace of Caserta. We were invited to dine and only had a pizza, which I found to be light and made with good-quality ingredients. A particularly negative aspect was the staff, who spoke rudely, almost annoyed, to the guests. The climax of the evening came at 10:30 PM when the waiters began folding chairs onto the tables to make us leave.

06/11/2025: The pizza was okay, nothing special. The service was just okay. The best thing was being able to watch the game on TV.
17/10/2025: I went for lunch today. Good food, exceptional service, and the owner. I'll definitely be back with friends. Luigi has a very well-stocked wine cellar. My heartfelt compliments; for someone who's always on the go for work, it feels wonderful to feel at home. Thank you so much.

Al Vecchio Frantoio

09/11/2025: Finally, a pizza that's neither soft nor burnt. Authentic pizza, as it should be: thin, holds its shape, easy to digest, good-quality ingredients. Prices are also lower than average. Plenty of parking just steps away. The atmosphere is casual, but I have no complaints about that. I've been coming back often since I discovered this place, and I'll gladly return again.
31/10/2025: I highly recommend the Vecchio Frantoio pizza........
