Tried through previous reviews read, I can only add excellent quality of the raw materials served: typical Tuscan specialties with the addition of fresh handmade pasta!! Too bad I didn't take the second courses... good reason to return!! Attentive, fast and polite staff. I forgot the local red wine, fragrant, very pleasant!! Excellent!!

Medieval style setting we dined on a beautiful covered terrace surrounded by beautiful greenery...homemade pasta abundant dishes sublime second courses...excellent wines...all at a good price...

Dopo un tardo pomeriggio piovoso e dopo aver visitato Siena decidiamo di andare a cena in questo storico e caratteristico ristorante nel cuore del borgo di monteriggioni . Ci fanno accomodare nella veranda esterna affacciata sugli olivi e sulle storiche mura . Optiamo per dei puci cacio e pepe e con Ragú di Fiorentina , entrambi ottimo ma questi ultimi spettacolari . Poi ci dividiamo una leggendaria fiorentina con patate arrosto. Ottimo vino 🍷 . Consigliatissimo .

Cibo di provenienza locale eccellente. Ottimo l'impiattamento. Come pure il vino. Atmosfera elegante ma di nicchia. Locale piccolo ma piacevole. Adatto a cene d'affari e romantiche. Non costa poco. D'altronde se volete mangiare bene....

06/07/2025: Definitely a place worth a stop. We had a truly exceptional pappa al pomodoro with stracciatella and pici with anchovies that were equally worthy. Friendly staff and an absolutely honest bill.
