There's a birthday to celebrate
and today we want to overdo it
tonight the twenty-ninth of January
which one do we choose as a spoon?
we have always had a good time with Elena and Remo
and this time too we will return to Monteriggioni.
They placed us next to the fireplace,
the two of us enjoyed:
- a pumpkin flan, leek cream, porcini mushrooms and hazelnut crumble
- a homemade tagliolini with 24 egg yolks, creamed with home-made butter, truffle and grated fresh truffle
- a rack of lamb cooked at low temperature, its stock, American potato and its chips
- a wild boar from the castle with Chianti Classico, red fruit reduction, polenta chips and caper powder
- two side dishes
- and finally two spicy chocolate desserts (excellent)
- plus obviously two glasses of Chianti Classico Riserva
We had a wonderful time, everything was good and the service was attentive and kind.
P.S.
The meat dishes such as the Chianina steak or the Florentine steak, which we have had on other occasions, are also highly recommended.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant where everything is homemade. They make their wheat, their flour on site as well as their pasta. The dishes are excellent and don't miss the desserts.
All in a nice setting at a reasonable price.
The staff is very friendly, highly recommended.

Our favorite meal in Italy. The Pici pasta, Tuscan soup and Cinghale were all favorites for our family. And the atmosphere is so authentic. Highly recommend.

We had lunch at the da Remo restaurant on Saturday 18 January. Very welcoming location, very professional and kind staff, very good food. Once we left the venue we were very excited to have been there.

Locale molto carino nella piazza centrale di Monteriggioni. Personale molto accogliente e menù ricco di piatti tipici della tradizione toscana. Appena si entra c’è un piccolo laboratorio a vista per la produzione di pasta fresca. Abbiamo assaggiati i pici, veramente buonissimi. Anche la ribollita merita. Assolutamente da provare se siete in zona.

Bella location in piazzetta a Monteriggioni, cibo di qualità e servizio ottimo, da assaggiare la loro tagliata, un burro, squisita,ottimi anche i pici cacio e pepe, consigliatissimo.
