We had a great lunch with a fish menu consisting of spaghetti allo scoglio, fried fish without bones and mixed salad... we will definitely be back

We discovered this restaurant by chance and had a wonderful dinner. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere simple, and the food good. It offers a fixed-price menu of meat and fish (except Saturday and Sunday). We enjoyed spaghetti with clams and mussels, fried fish, and a side dish. Everything was perfect. The prices are fair. Recommended for those who want to eat well and taste good without frills.

I had lunch at Da Peppe during a work break. The atmosphere is rustic and informal, with a quick and friendly welcome. I ordered tagliatelle as a first course, which was served quickly and had a delicious homemade flavor. The quality/price ratio is really good: for about €15, we ate without breaking the bank. The ample parking in front of the restaurant is also very convenient. Ideal for a quick but satisfying lunch break.

The staff were super friendly. We were supposed to arrive at 1:30, but due to traffic, we arrived at 2:30 (obviously, we had been notified in advance). They welcomed us kindly and let us eat slowly, despite the baby. The three of us ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course with side dish, a cutlet with fries, and two desserts, as well as two coffees. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if you're going to Loreto or just happen to pass by.

Trattoria La Cantineta

24/08/2025: This restaurant in the center of Ancona is accessed via a staircase to the first floor, so I think people with mobility issues might have difficulty accessing it, especially since I didn't see an elevator. The restaurant is cute, 1980s-style, with air conditioning, so you can eat outside, not on the street, or under a tent. You can have a lunch break al fresco, with tables set with tablecloths. We had good tagliolini allo scoglio and spaghetti with clams, which was a bit loose, but it was a shame because the clams were there. For the main course, the fried fish was good, but the calamari was a bit too crispy. The service is friendly, and the staff is kind and courteous. I honestly recommend it, especially because the prices are average.
17/08/2025: A very well-maintained, down-to-earth restaurant with excellent food and reasonable prices. Recommended.
