A character, really, this Nedo!! I came back 16 years after my last visit and the place hasn't changed!! It may seem very old and stale, even prohibitive to some, but when you taste the dishes...! Mamma Mia, super good and excellent value for money when you look everywhere else! Fresh and local products here! Worth the detour! Ciao dei francesi!

Abstain snotty people! Very rustic trattoria, few dishes, simple menu, with dishes cooked to perfection at a more than affordable price for being in the center of Portoferraio. Go there (possibly not in high season) and you will thank us!

If you want to spend a cheerful family evening and above all eat well, this is the right place. Welcomed by Nedo and his wife Franca we spent a wonderful evening in the company of our furry friend who was also welcomed with love and kindness. In short, this is not the usual restaurant but an experience worth trying.

Eat like grandma's We have been on holiday on Elba in Portoferraio for 4 years. The ambience of the restaurant is very simple and outdated - not a tourist trap. The selection of dishes is manageable. The water and wine glasses are identical, the plates are old, there is the same cutlery for all dishes BUT the food is world class every time. Fresh products, well prepared and seasoned and Nedo and his wife/team are super warm and entertaining. You probably see so many locals eating there and fewer tourists. We would love to come back, indulge in culinary delights and try to improve our Italian, as everyone only speaks Italian. If you really want to eat well like grandma's (as long as she can cook and is Italian), it is a clear recommendation. The price for starter, main course with side dishes, wine and water as well as limoncino was 55 euros for 2 people.

I spent an evening with my family at Nedo and the opinion was more than positive! High quality fish, cooked wonderfully well by his little wife... Fast service even though the place was full... And then Nedo's kindness was the icing on the cake!!! I recommend it to simple people, who want to eat well while spending little and having a laugh in the meantime!!!

We went to this place out of curiosity to see it. The various conflicting reviews did not give a clear idea of ​​the quality. Nedo is a character but his offer is not worth it. If someone then wants to find folklore and is satisfied with simple dishes but without quality then everything is fine.
