Good food, very fun person, quiet atmosphere but high price and menu prices to be reviewed.

So let's start from the assumption that here you go without pretensions, you eat what's fresh. On the one hand, it can be annoying not to know what you're ordering, but you have to trust a character like Nedo (yes, because he's a very particular character we're talking about 😂). We eat home-style. The place is spartan, but passable. I with my family of 4 people including 2 children, I assure you that 4 spaghetti with seafood, seared tuna, fried prawns and calamari, peppered mussels, French fries (handmade thinly pickled and fresh), a caponata and salad, house wine and 2 bottles of water….All very good as cooked by your grandmother… All for €80, and a final dedication written strictly by hand... I think honest Hi Nedo Have a good life…

A real rustic trattoria, not just fish, Nedo a true popular character, pleasant and friendly dinner

You have to go there to understand it: Nedo is unique!

We had dinner at Nedo, a nice character. The restaurant is run by him and his wife who are both over seventy years old, but with a gas on them that many dream of 🤣 there were 4 of us and we chose the first white, (because everything was white or red or black) for the second courses we took grilled salmon, fried mussels and octopus, all really good. We spent €27 each and ate well and the portions were right. They accept dogs

A simple place to eat fish cooked in a simple but good way. Honorable mention for the poached octopus, tasty and so soft that it melts in your mouth! Homemade fries that were reminiscent of the ones my mother-in-law cooked. Calm service provided by the elderly owner, Nedo, a character who also entertains customers with anecdotes and stories. Low price considering that we eat fish and we are in Portoferraio.

Osteria vecchio stile. Piatti ben fatti e materie prime di prima scelta. Servizio ai tavoli pittoresco, scansonato, mai offensivo. Prezzi coerenti. Ci torneremo.

Poche cose ma buone. Primi (ottimi) secondi (ottimi) vino acqua caffè limoncello 3 pers 80euro. Prezzi sotto la media per l’Elba

We were at Nedo's at Pentecost and were able to enjoy delicious fish. The choice was small, either red or white pasta with mussels, grilled tuna or Sepa. We had a really delicious meal, Nedo is very entertaining, but some knowledge of Italian is advisable. With wine, water, café and limoncello for 2 people €55 unbeatable!

The food here is good and Nedo is truly a character. Compliments for the kitchen and the service.
