Ristorante Da Muzzicone In Castiglion fiorentino

Bistecca, buon vino, olio degno di nota, atmosfera romantica. Era la prima volta e torneremo presto, siamo stati benissimo.

I wanted to return to this restaurant after several years, but perhaps the passing away of the owner Muzzicone has lowered the level. You dine in a square surrounded by parked cars (you can only eat inside the restaurant for lunch) We had very good pici all'aglione, gnocchi with zola (industrially made and not handmade) and a cut of beef, oil, peppercorns and rosemary, as well as a side dish of grilled potatoes (later revealed to be the only medium-sized potato cut for two for €4.00) Tables mainly occupied by foreigners. Maybe the wrong time or evening, too bad.

We stopped here after a recommendation from a friend while passing through Umbria. The ambience is fantastic, the food is of excellent quality and the food tastes good! You should definitely make a reservation in advance, the restaurant is very popular not only with tourists but also with locals. The portions are reasonable, so you can eat two courses as is typical of the country. It was wonderful.

We had an early lunch in this place next to a church, beautiful renovation, excellent service, dishes all cooked to perfection and of excellent quality.

Siamo a Castiglion Fiorentino, dentro le mura di un bellissimo borgo. Troviamo una piazza che sembra disegnata per come è bella; qui si staglia una deliziosa terrazza dove Marco, autentico oste toscano , maneggia bisteccone di chianina di circa 2 kg medi, selezionate con cura e, cotte con grande maestria. Marco ci accompagna insieme al suo ottimo staff per tutta la bella cena e ci racconta molto della sua Toscana: panzanella da bissare, salame, capocollo al finocchietto fantastici ed una caciotta toscana dei monti, indimenticabile. Verdure, patate al forno e cantucci finali freschi ed “azzuppati” nel vin santo. Bella carta dei vini; noi scegliamo un rose’ molto interessante. Se carne di livello volete mangiare, avete trovato il posto per voi!!
