The food is top-notch. They serve bruschetta with fresh olive oil as an appetizer. The first courses are each better than the last, and the Florentine steak is spectacular.

We were there last night and I have to say we had a wonderful time. Everything we ate was top-notch, including the steak, which was delicious. The service was kind and courteous, far above the norm. These people know how to keep customers coming back. The bill was truly fair for the food and service we ordered. It remains one of my favorite restaurants.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It turns out it's a very popular spot among the locals. We were lucky to find a table for two. Be sure to reserve a table in advance! The interior is lovely. The food and service are top-notch!

UN BISTECCONE PER DUE CON CONTORNO DI INSALATA DELL'ORTO, BUONO IL VINO, DISCRETO IL LOCALE DENTRO IL PAESE UN PO' A DESIDERARE IL SERVIZIO E IL COSTO DELLA CENA E' SALITO UN PO PER TUTTO MA, OVVIAMENTE, PER LA BISTECCA. GENTILEZZA E SIMPATIA.

Fantastisch restaurant. Een hele lieve nonna staat achter de grill en snijdt de tagliata di manzo. De lekkerste!!! Jaren geleden daar gegeten en vorige jaar hiervoor teruggekomen. Dit jaar hebben we er 2 maal gedineerd. Fijne bediening. Heerlijk buiten gezeten. Lekkere wijnen. Als je van vlees houdt ben je hier op het juiste adres. Voor mij het beste restaurant van Castiglion Fiorentino. Dit komt ook mede door de lieve nonna. Een echte aanrader.

11/10/2025: A culinary experience of the highest order! The food here is unbelievably delicious – every dish was an absolute highlight. There's no menu; the chef decides what's served – and that's exactly what makes the visit so special. Each course was perfectly seasoned, creatively presented, and prepared with palpable passion. The entire team is extremely polite, attentive, and warm, making you feel welcome from the very first moment. Advance reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant is apparently very popular and usually full – quite rightly so!
24/09/2025: It had been recommended to us for a while, and we finally tried it! The appetizer was delicious and varied, with various Tuscan appetizers. For the main course, we loved the Cinta Senese pork and the ossobuco served with mashed potatoes. We prefer the zuppa inglese with alchermes (we think it's the classic recipe). The Chianti was excellent! The staff were very kind and attentive; the prices were reasonable for being in the center of Montevarchi.

09/11/2025: Very charming place, delicious and characteristic food, highly recommended. Exquisite staff, especially the waiters: Luiza, Stefano, and Ramona, Serena, Olga, and Sadia. Ask for them, they're great. Push!
