We were actually looking for a simple restaurant and ended up here. We don't usually feel comfortable in more upscale restaurants, but the service was very friendly and some of the staff even spoke English. Even though we only ordered simple dishes and didn't order any wine, the staff was very attentive and friendly. My fish was absolutely delicious. In short: If you're looking for something simple and just want pasta without fish or seafood, or even just pizza, you should go somewhere else. They don't even have pizza. If you want delicious fish, you should come here.

A very good restaurant in Le Castella. This fish restaurant also offers options for vegetarians. The place gets very busy at lunchtime, and it gets quite noisy. The service remains friendly, even in the hustle and bustle. The food is served quite quickly.

Le Castella is a beautiful location in the beautiful Calabria, and the added value of this place is also its cuisine, and Mimmo is definitely one of the best! I ordered appetizers, a first course, and a second course based on fish. The dishes were truly excellent. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. A dinner with top marks!

A restaurant that truly represents the tradition of Crotone cuisine and never disappoints. It's always very busy, a sign of quality: it's best to book in advance, as there's limited seating inside, while there are more tables outside. The dishes are generous and flavorful, prepared with the freshest ingredients. The fish, both cooked and raw, is excellent, and the pasta is special: trofie with pistachio cream and clams, linguine, or spaghetti with lobster, all exquisite. Also worth trying is the sardella, often served with bread as a house appetizer: a gesture that immediately makes you feel welcome. The service is attentive and fast, despite the large seating capacity. There's sometimes a bit of a wait, but that's understandable because the dishes are elaborate and prepared with care. The house tiramisu is absolutely not to be missed: fresh, creamy, and delicious. The coffee afterward is also excellent. The atmosphere is familiar and warm, making it a great place to be for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is air-conditioned inside, while outside you can enjoy the breeze from the harbor and the waterfront. Attention to detail: even the bathrooms are well-stocked and organized, a sign of customer care. Parking is available nearby. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy true Crotone tradition with generous dishes, super-fresh fish, and consistently friendly service. We'll gladly return!
