A simple, no-frills restaurant, perfect for lunch after a hike or if you're just passing through. The typical local cuisine is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The gentleman who served us was very friendly, and we really enjoyed the view of the mountains beyond. I highly recommend it.

A very welcoming atmosphere, it feels like home. This is also thanks to the very kind and super helpful staff. The food was really good, generous and high-quality portions. Dogs are welcome. I recommend booking; unfortunately, the day I went, many people didn't find a seat.

We ate here as a couple on Saturday evening, during a weekend getaway to Villalago. We found the restaurant very welcoming, with smiling and helpful staff. The food was very good, with generous portions and a fair price. Recommended.

We had lunch here one day during a visit to Villalago. The atmosphere is very rustic, the lady serving was very kind, the food was good, but the appetizer, at 9 euros, was paltry. Honestly, the total cost of lunch was high; we'd have paid less elsewhere and eaten more. Still, it's a must-visit for anyone wanting to eat in Villalago.

A day trip out of town just to spend a different kind of Saturday. Destination: Villalago and Lake Scanno. For lunch, since we didn't have anything planned, we asked a local for information. They recommended Trattoria Pizzeria Da Michele. The recommendation was more than appreciated. We tried ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato and basil, and fettuccine alla boscaiola (chopped sausage, mushrooms, and cream). And of course, the arrosticini were a must. Generous portions and everything was delicious.
Reservations are recommended to avoid any unexpected waits.

I stumbled upon this place by chance...I wasn't familiar with it. The place has a familiar, lived-in feel. The young woman who served us was very friendly and kind; she immediately made me feel at ease and gave me a sense of belonging, as if I were already a regular.
The food, prices, and service were absolutely fair. The place was quite full but not noisy...I'll be back.
