Rediscovering traditional Piedmontese dishes, with a pinch of flair, was the pleasant discovery we made while having lunch in this restaurant in the Asti area. The quality of the ingredients, the kindness of the staff did the rest. Absolutely recommended, but with advance reservation, otherwise you risk not finding a place.

Discovered by chance and for convenience (it is close to where we stayed), as soon as we entered we were welcomed into a familiar but very professional environment. Warm, clean and comfortable environment. Great service and tasty local cuisine. The tagliolini with truffle are very good. Well-stocked wine cellar with many types and prices available. We were happy and satisfied, so much so that we returned the next evening. Advised

Posto consigliatissimo. Menù ottimo, forse la migliore battuta di Fassone mai assaggiata. Tagliolini da 10. Buono il resto. Basta scelta di vini. Il personale ti fa sentire a tuo agio e si vede tutta la preparazione del cuoco. Location comoda per il parcheggio. Si vedono un po' gli anni ma resta accogliente e pulita. Prezzi un pelo sopra la media ma credo ne valga la pena. Da provare.

Scelto per la cena questo ristorante che dispone di unampio e piacevole portico aperto sulla strada. In realtà non è a Villadeati, ma in una frazione: Zanco, un paesino tra le colline. Infestato da zanzare e insetti vari, ma provvisto di tante dosi di insetticidi... Buono il vino della casa: un barbera vellutato. Speciale il vitello tonnato con la piacevole salsa ai capperi. Gradevoli i tagliolini al burro e tartufi (tanti!), anche questi una specialità del Monferrato. Un po' secco il coniglio in umido ma buono. Servizio gentile, prezzi buoni.

10/03/2025: Excellent food and private atmosphere. Well-made traditional regional dishes and truly excellent starters (fassona steak and veal with tuna sauce). I expected more choice than the proposal but we still ate well. Excellent selection of wines although, by the glass, I would always also suggest the brachetto. Friendly staff but it is advisable to immediately pay attention to the dishes on the menu which for various reasons cannot be served

07/04/2025: Nice place to visit but did not find the prices attractive. The staff at Moncler were particularly unfriendly. They stood around talking and didn’t even asked if we need any help.
07/04/2025: Magnificent, this place is beautifully maintained, large selection of shops at attractive prices.
