Located in the center of Costigliole d'Asti, I had a pizza—unusual but good—and drank a draft beer, perhaps a little too carbonated (probably poured too quickly).

This small restaurant in Costigliole d'Asti enjoys a lovely location on the main street. The food is good, featuring traditional recipes, but the dining room definitely needs updating. More attention should also be paid to service.

I won't talk about the food, because I was only able to eat a pizza with vegetables, given my diet doesn't conform to the food of these and many other places, where culturally a vegan is a kind of alien... terrible service, while my companion had already eaten his appetizer and main course alone, I had to wait too long for a pizza, which I also ate alone, without conviviality.
The people around us, probably regulars, were served and treated better than us outsiders, who nevertheless paid the bill.
It's definitely not a place I'll set foot in again.

The food is prepared with love. Everything is homemade and tastes absolutely delicious. We give Ristorante "Da Maddalena" a well-deserved five stars and a clear recommendation. 👍🏻

Straconsigliato. Pizze buonissime, la pizza al tegamino è la pizza più buona che io abbia mai mangiato. Se non si vuole mangiare la pizza, la cucina è veramente buona! Tutto fatto in casa, veramente squisito dall'antipasto ai dolci, tutti favolosi e fatti da loro! ! Personale gentilissimo e simpatico!!
