Very welcoming and familiar place, excellent Abruzzo cuisine. After a wonderful skiing it was just what we needed! Highly recommended.

Le portate sono state tutte eccellenti: saporite e abbondanti. Abbiamo preso il tagliere di formaggi, la polenta, la verza con patate e la crema catalana. Sapori casalinghi e genuini. Personale molto cordiale e sorridente. I prezzi sono contenuti, anche considerando la qualità dei prodotti. Assolutamente consigliato!

Excellent hotel for daisy-chain tours, both trekking and visiting the splendid villages in the area. Large and clean rooms. Very kind and attentive staff.

We stayed for 3 wonderful days at the end of the year in this fantastic hotel which is located in a wonderful town of around 400 souls located on top of a mountain which from afar looks like a nativity scene covered in snow, but what made our mini holiday even more Even more beautiful was the great availability that Mrs. Giusi gave us, making us feel at ease. Excellent hotel in a strategic position to visit the Gran Sasso! A very important thing for a motorcyclist is the covered garage and the attached restaurant, I recommend half board, the food is excellent and the staff is always ready and available 🔝

We stayed in the mini suite. Two spacious and clean rooms, two tastefully renovated bathrooms and a huge terrace. The breakfast was more than satisfactory. We also made use of the excellent restaurant. If I were to return to Castel del Monte I would return here without hesitation!

Good hotel, very friendly staff who are also flexible if breakfast is later or dinner is later, they accommodate special requests and I can only recommend the good breakfast and very tasty dinner

Il Primo Amore

17/03/2025: We tasted their starter and two first courses, risotto with peppers and cocoa pasta with wild boar.. Starter below average both in terms of abundance and taste, the best thing was the jam made by the lady.. As for the first courses, as can also be seen from the photo, the pasta was practically pasta with a simple sauce, 2 small pieces of wild boar and almost no flavour... the association with cocoa was certainly a good idea but unfortunately the taste was totally absent... Overall I don't recommend it
11/03/2025: Small restaurant that has the particularity of serving appetizers, first courses (a great choice) and side dishes but not second courses. Don't miss it! Advised!

20/03/2025: We were there last year, a truly unique lunch and we returned today from Civitanova Marche, my wife and I, very good food, apart from a small problem that was promptly resolved, flavours that you can no longer find on the coast, extreme kindness, thank you very much, see you soon Daniele
17/03/2025: Restaurant recommended by a colleague from L'Aquila. Very nice place with quick and friendly service. The quality of the products is very high and the plants are cooked to perfection. Very abundant and delicious dishes. The dishes with truffles and desserts are highly recommended. Passed with top marks
