First of all, I want to say a word against those who give one star for the most abstract and fanciful reasons... stay home.
I ate at this restaurant a year ago and forgot to review it. I think the food is excellent... the location is very nice, and the service is impeccable.
I have a complaint about the price, though, because I find it a bit high, but that's normal here in Grottaferrata.

We had a wonderful time. The staff were very professional and friendly, especially Riccardo, who made us feel at home. The food was excellent, very fresh and high-quality. A huge thank you to chef Mauro. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Dinner with friends, we ate excellent raw seafood and delicious cooked dishes. Two first courses (scampi and flower cream packets/spaghetti with clams and squid) had the table split on which was better. The fritturinana to finish was plentiful and expertly fried. Compliments.
Excellent wine selection, always pay attention to the price, which should be disclosed if not on the menu.
Friendly and unobtrusive service; I felt as if I'd been there several times before, not just the first time—perfect timing.
Desserts were delicious.

An unforgettable taste experience at Leo in Grottaferrata
What can I say… let's start from the assumption that the location is a real gem, perfectly set in one of the historic buildings of the splendid town of Grottaferrata.
The welcome is superb, thanks to Leonardo – the owner – and his impeccable dining room staff, always attentive and friendly.
We have been frequenting this restaurant since 2018, and since then the watchword has always been one: taste. The fish, from raw to cooked, is always a certainty, thanks to the obsessive care in the choice of raw materials, always very fresh and of the highest quality.
The first and second courses are a journey through unique flavors, thanks to surprising combinations that follow the rhythm of the seasons and the availability of the products.
And what about the desserts? In addition to having spectacular presentations, they manage to give the palate unforgettable emotions, with a perfect balance between taste and creativity.
All the courses are accompanied by an impeccable selection of wines, expertly recommended by Riccardo, always ready to guide you in the right choice.
To conclude: you don't need to go to the seaside to eat excellent fish... just come to Leo!

Nice surprise, restaurant discovered by asking on the street where we could eat well in Grottaferrata.
We ate on the veranda and had 2 tartare (tuna and fish, both excellent) and spaghetti with clams, scampi and calamari, delicious.
The staff were very courteous, they even helped us find a taxi, which isn't very easy in those parts.
Good value for money, absolutely recommended.
