We had a WONDERFUL meal. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is welcoming, familiar, quiet, and relaxing. Forget fancy, refined restaurants: this is a homely, simple place, with simple, delicious dishes. I'll definitely be back!

Giona is a lovely place to spend a few hours in good company. The service is prompt and the staff is fantastic, polite and warm. Despite the negative reviews, the food is good and the prices are fair. The fish is fresh (the marinated anchovies were fabulous), well cooked and of high quality. We will definitely return. Recommended for those who want to eat fish without breaking the bank.

The food is good and the prices are fair. The sea view is splendid! The only flaw is the ambiance, which could use a bit of a refresh, as the style is now quite dated.

I like it, I don't care what anyone thinks. It's a seafood restaurant that serves more than decent food right on the beach at fair prices. If you don't like it, it's because you're a horrible person. It's your own business.

17/02/2026: We stayed for a few nights in the summer of 2024 and were very happy, especially with the gluten-free options (I've been celiac for 12 years). The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh homemade products (cakes, croissants, etc.). We also almost always stopped in for lunch and dinner (gluten-free pasta, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free fried foods, etc.). Superb!
05/12/2025: All in all, we had a good time, especially for those seeking tranquility, and Mrs. Caterina is truly kind and thoughtful towards her guests.
