Disappointing.
The atmosphere of the place is not of a good standard, it feels like being in a pizzeria... definitely not a home-style Tuscan trattoria.
Starters: bresaola carpaccio and spectacular ham and coccoli platter, certainly the best of the dinner. At first the steak was a total pleasure, really good, but unfortunately the last pieces tasted of charcoal and burnt, you could see it from the color - they were black! It's a shame because they ruined a fairly good quality steak (you could smell the smell of burning and charcoal from the moment you entered). Pretty decent side dish of french fries, delicious fried artichokes but unfortunately these were also ruined because they weren't cleaned well inside, you were left chewing for hours. Sweet tiramisu with cantucci good, nothing special.
The real problem was the total €170, therefore €85 each with a modest wine. Extremely expensive, absolutely not worth it. Exceptional service. Too bad I had excellent impressions from the menu, old-fashioned prices and lots of choice. But sadly disappointing.

Very Tuscan, but very expensive for the place for diners.
I recently visited a restaurant far away, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations.
The environment and equipment were extremely spartan, almost at the level of a community hall, which I found unwelcoming.
Moving on to the food, the Florentine steak had a decent quality, but the strong smell of smoke and coal was already perceptible outside the restaurant, making the entrance not very pleasant.
Once served, the meat was excessively imbued with a burnt flavour, and some pieces were taken to a hot plate, ending up overcooking even the internal part, which should have remained rare.
Even the dessert didn't shine: the tiramisu with cantucci was nothing special, although I was told it was soft.
Finally, the bill was really too high compared to the quality of the overall experience.

Ottima locanda con portate eccellenti e a prezzi molto onesti. Staff disponibile, professionale e cordialita' eccelsa rendono questo posto una pausa ideale. Eravamo di passaggio e tornerei volentieri qualora dovessi passare da li.
