We ate at this place, the food was okay, the decor was basic, but now they give you a bread with tomato dressing with your drinks without you even asking, and then they charge you 3 euros per person... a rip-off.

We cross in front of San Marco's Palace and continue walking down one of Venice's cul-de-sac streets.
On the way to the restaurant we pass many interesting looking shops.
On the menu are squid ink pasta and fried seafood dishes. Plus cake.
After lunch we leave the main island by boat.

Excellent restaurant, quality food at truly affordable prices, just steps from Piazza San Marco, a place where you can breathe in the Venetian atmosphere, with kind and friendly staff, and excellently cooked fish and meat. Special thanks to Massimiliano (Max), who takes care of his guests with kindness and friendliness! Highly recommended.

Located on a quiet street, yet close enough to Piazza San Marco, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It's an intimate, welcoming restaurant, where a very friendly and helpful waiter welcomes you. The food is very good (the pizza with ricotta and zucchini flowers is recommended), but it also offers traditional local cuisine. They "pampered" me with a small "entrée" (unsolicited, unpaid for, but appreciated) consisting of a mini mozzarella and tomato panzerotto, and finally... my coffee was accompanied by handmade cantucci biscuits with almonds (these were also not added to the bill). The price was more than reasonable. Highly recommended. I would definitely go back.

The food was okay, but not amazing. The carbonara was too thick and egg-heavy. The ravioli was better. The service was poor. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but otherwise inadequate. Very slow, didn't clear away used dishes and glasses, and forgot to bring a mineral water order. There are better restaurants in this price range.

Very tasty food. Very fast and friendly service. Two large groups of tourists visited the restaurant one after the other, while we were able to enjoy our lunch in peace outside.

I will give 5 start if they were more faster for the order and if they have prices not very expensive, the food was good and place is nice.
