Excellent veal with tuna sauce and fried olives, excellent quality first courses and delicious dessert.
Excellent wine selection, friendly and polite staff.
Location furnished in good taste and a stone's throw from the main square.

Intimate and welcoming place in the historic center. "Short" menu but which combines traditional dishes with more particular ones (some deriving from the experience gained by the chef in Piedmont). Very good tartare, as were the ribs and the dessert (a "revisited" cannoli). Average high price. We'll be back!

...all'inizio aver trovato posto dopo l'ennesimo ristorante chiuso ci aveva fatto titubare, e invece... Ristorante gourmet. Abbiamo optato per la registrazione: 2 antipasti, 2 primi, un secondo, dolce e vini scelti nazionali. L'antipasto debbo dire molto gradito, i secondi non ci hanno sconvolto positivamente, ma lo chef si è rifatto con il filetto di maiale ai carciofi, niente male nemmeno il semifreddo alla nocciola. Il servizio al tavolo gentile e disponibile, dovrebbe acquisire un po' più di sicurezza e savoir faire, il menù c'è basta un po' di più ragazzi!

Apart from the waiter's response to "can you give us the wine list" it was "it's all in my mind, ask me" we had ordered a wine that they didn't have instead of giving us the wine list again so we could choose another, the waiter showed up with two proposals therefore with two bottles of wine and we would have had to choose between the two. Without knowing the price at all. Trusting him completely. The fried foods arrived very greasy and we ate them out of hunger. There is very little choice on the menu and the prices are very high. Lots of scenery certainly because the place is nice. But here with €40 elsewhere you can at least be satisfied. The meat I must say was good, cooked well. The fried food you see in the photo arrived just like that, not even three olives as per tradition but two. According to them, this would be a portion of fried food!

Ristorante gestito dal proprietario un Chef molto bravo abbiamo assaggiato dei piatti unici sia come preparazione che come prodotti di prima scelta... prezzo qualità ottimo, consigliatissimo, complimenti 👏👏

The food was excellent, quality and well-prepared dishes, if I had to evaluate only the cuisine I would definitely give 5 stars.
Unfortunately the service, although friendly, did not prove to be up to the standard of a restaurant with this quality and these prices.
No wine list (!), we were suggested a local wine: when asked which vineyards it was, we were told that he did not know but that it was an expensive wine and that he would lower the price to 20-25 euros.
Aside from the fact that the answer is not consistent with the question I asked and that if I am told that I will be recommended a bottle I expect that this bottle is at least known to the host ("it's good" and "I'll give you a discount" does not mean knowing the bottle), moreover when it came to the bill I was charged 35 euros. The increase in price compared to what was previously communicated was also not specified but I had to discover it by checking the receipt (also since the mistake was made by the dining room, the least they could do would have been to communicate it and apologize for the inconvenience, even if from a quality restaurant I would have expected that the communicated amount would still be charged and not another).
Once the inconsistency between the prices was pointed out, I was given a discount of €2.50, informing us that the owner had prevented him from lowering the price as previously communicated to us.
Furthermore, the dishes listed on the menu but absent that day were not communicated and the explanations of the dishes were a bit superficial.
Too bad, because the dinner was very good, but with a bill like that (absolutely adequate for the quality of the food and which I would have happily paid in another context) it is difficult to overlook these lack of professionalism.
