Ristorante Covo Dei Saraceni In

Having stayed at Covo regularly over the last 26 years, this year was a major disappointment on many levels. The hotel carries a 5 star rating, however my experience this year rates it at no more than 4 (and that is being generous). Rates have increased 30% over 2 years and the service and standard of the hotel are not befitting of this increase in any way whatsoever The rooms are tired and have not been updated in 25 years, the turn down service is erratic, there are no complimentary goodies ie no water at bed time (the least a 5 star hotel can offer guests!), the front desk staff are generally unhelpful and disinterested - a complaint re failure to turn down the room was met with lame excuses and no attempt was made by the hotel manager to make contact and to address the complaint. The hospitality staff continually argue with each other and speak in their native dialect and lack professionalism and courtesy.. A big shout however to Augusto - the pool manager and Rosario the bar manager who are and have always been the consumate professionals. I will not be returning to this hotel after 26 years of patronage and loyalty and the hotel’s prime location (which appears to be its only redeeming quality at this point) cannot justify its 5 star rating in perpetuity without and overhaul of its overall current lacklustre offering.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working as wedding photographer at the Covo dei Saraceni in Positano for an elopement, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. My team and I were captivated by the beauty of this place and the quality of the service. The rooms with terraces overlooking Positano are simply wonderful. Every corner is a burst of fantastic colors, enriched with plants and flowers that create the perfect setting for a symbolic ceremony. It was a dream to capture these moments in such an enchanting environment. The hotel's location is exceptional, situated in the heart of Positano's marina. This makes it incredibly easy to step out for photos in the picturesque streets of the town, and it also offers the opportunity to take a boat for a romantic excursion along the coast. Every detail seems designed to make each moment special and unique. What truly made our experience extraordinary was the incredible hospitality we received. A special thanks goes to Concetta, who treated us as if we were at home. Her assistance was essential for the shoot, and the care she gave to the couple, literally pampering them, was extraordinary. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. I would unreservedly recommend the Covo dei Saraceni to all couples looking for a dream elopement. The combination of a breathtaking environment, impeccable service, and warm hospitality makes this hotel the perfect choice for celebrating a special love. Thank you again to the entire team at Covo dei Saraceni for making our work so enjoyable and for helping to create memories that will last forever.

Fabulous location overlooking the port of Positano. The food and service was exceptional. Prices were what was expected for the location but definitely worth it

Had lemon cake and it was soooooooo gooood. The service was good and the lemon cake was even better. Go for the lemon cake it’s a simple one but worth it

We had a lunch at the restaurant. Place has a beautiful view overlooking positano and the beach. Interior is beautiful as well. Staff were very kind and the meal was great too. Highly recommend fried squid platter and margherita pizza. Lemoncello sprite is perfect with the view. We recommend having lunch at a relatively reasonable price at a beautiful restaurant while admiring the view of Positano. The lemon cello spa light is delicious and the fried squid set is delicious! Margherita is also great
