We were visiting Sabbioneta and were looking online for a restaurant to eat at. Reading the reviews we discovered this beautiful place which met our expectations both for the quality of the food and for the place (and also the interior decor). We promised ourselves we would return, there are still many dishes to try.

Perdu au milieu des champs, la grande auberge nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Le patron nous a reçu en français et nous a proposé une cuisine savoureuse et locale constituée d'excellents produits et d'un tour de main enthousiasmant. Caverne d'Ali Baba peuplée de jukebox et mille objets hétéroclites. Un lieu infiniment recommandable. On se sent accueilli chez quelqu'un.

Siamo capitati in questo posto per caso ed è stata una bellissima sorpresa! Fiorentina da urlo, salumi eccezionali.. che dire, tutto ottimo. Ringraziamo anche il titolare per la sua ospitalità e per averci spiegato gli oggetti meravigliosi che espone nei locali della corte.

Tasting menu 2 excluding drinks. Excellent meal, fabulous Tortelli with pumpkin. Nice discovery, particular environment with lots of interesting vintage things, owner and waiters very kind and friendly. Well done!!!!!!

19/08/2024: Thank you very much for allowing us to stay overnight with you. You can park your camper on a large meadow behind the main house, free of charge. Ideal for transit. Thank you very much again!

15/08/2024: For those who love home cooking it is the ideal place, low prices and excellent food.
14/08/2024: We were there in the evening and were greeted politely. The food was good, the house platter was delicious. The dessert surprised us very positively. Unfortunately, after the first order, the service was reserved and rather cold. It's a shame, because it's not just good food, but also a smile that makes a successful evening in the restaurant.
