We were welcomed into a small room with a wood-burning fireplace, along with another table. The menu is rich in local flavors, tasty and varied, and includes a fixed tasting menu. In the summer, you can eat outside and sometimes listen to live music. Andrea, the owner, is available to customize special menus for groups upon request. It's located in the quiet Mantua countryside. A must-visit after visiting nearby Sabbioneta.

The restaurant is difficult to reach, the service is mediocre, the food is good but you have to ask for it constantly, as they served it intermittently between the various tables.

Plenty of seating and little space between diners. The gnocco fritto, cured meats, and first and second courses are average. The Lambrusco bottles are expensive.

We left Verona to go there for gnocco fritto. We couldn't have made a better culinary choice. The lady who welcomed us and the owner were courteous, and the food was delicious. We ate very well and at a fair price. The place is quaint and worth a look for all the interesting items, and the background music, featuring George Michael, was excellent. We'll be back next spring. Recommended.

A warm and welcoming place, filled with historical relics from the last century that tell the story of the past and create a unique atmosphere. The rooms are particularly charming, especially those with fireplaces, which make the experience even more enjoyable.
The cuisine is excellent, featuring traditional Mantuan dishes: excellent cured meats and truly special pumpkin tortelli.
The owner is always extremely kind and welcoming, captivating guests with his life stories.
A simply unforgettable evening.
