They were friendly, and when I searched for Korean restaurants, several came up, but when I looked at the pictures of the food, it seemed like there were really only two Korean restaurants, including this one. The location is also close if you stay at Sainte Regis or Westin.
The food came out quickly and the male server took our orders in Korean. It seems like it's run by a family.
I heard that making beef stew takes time, so I had soft tofu, tteokbokki, jjajangmyeon, rice, seaweed, and wine. I recommend the pork and tteokbokki!!
I'm not sure about the price because I didn't pay.

I visited it as soon as I came from Rome to Florence on the 6th day of my trip to Italy. It reminded me so much of Korean food... As soon as it came out, we both ate it without even taking a breath... Bokkeum (boiled pork, sunjji, tteokbokki) (the best ㅠ It tasted like my mom made at home) Everything is really delicious! The side dishes that came with it (kimchi, bean soup, seasoned cucumber) didn't taste much different from what you get in Korea! I was planning to come again tomorrow, but they said I will be on vacation starting tomorrow ㅠㅠ Please take note if you are planning to visit!!!⭐️

I went there in the evening and the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was very nice.
The taste wasn't bad.
However, the 3 small pieces of meat in the kimchi stew were a bit disappointing.
The earthen pot was also very small.
It was a disappointing meal.
I've now had four dinners at this restaurant and have never been disappointed!

Goong offers an authentic Korean dining experience in a classy setting. The food was truly impressive and brought back memories of Korea. While the atmosphere leans more upscale than the casual pocha vibe I prefer, the service was exceptional, especially the young male waiter who was incredibly kind and helpful. I'll definitely be returning when I have the chance!

I ate here twice because it was close to the hotel. The owner was very kind and the food was not bad. The first day, I ordered stir-fried pork(Jeyuk bokem) and kimchi stew. It was about 38 euros including a bottle of Aqua. The stir-fried pork was so delicious that I ordered stir-fried pork and soft tofu stew the next day. It was about almost same price including a bottle of Aqua. Very happy to be able to eat Korean food in Florence.

Nice Korean restaurant, friendly and fast service. We tried the classic kimchi and the white ones. We also got sweet potato noodles, bulgogi and fermented vegetables. Everything was really good
