Ristorante Coreano Goong In Firenze

I visited this place after missing Korean food just three days into my trip to Italy. The taste is exactly like what I remember from Korea, and the side dishes and main courses are very clean and well-prepared. The staff and owner were also very friendly, so I think I will visit again!

I've eaten here two days in a row, and the food is delicious 😋

We felt like Korean for a change and we were not disappointed. We were in fact very pleased! Tasty food, nice atmosphere, good menu of Korean foods. The cold noodles with beef and pickled cucumbers were SOOOOO good. Apparently one can and should make reservations but we ended up getting lucky waking in.

On my week-long trip to Italy, my stomach, tired of pizza and pasta, was healed by the kimchi stew and pork belly here.

I went there because I was craving Korean food, and it was seriously so delicious I almost fainted. First off, I think this is a restaurant good enough to visit even if I were in Korea. I doubt there is another place that can make kimchi stew this good. The owner even gave me a gift; it is absolutely the best.

I visited two Korean restaurants in Florence, and I liked this one even more because the owner is Korean :) It isn't located in the main city center, but it's within a distance worth visiting while taking a walk along the Ponte Vecchio! Even if it's the same Korean restaurant, I feel more confident when the owner is Korean! Both the staff and the owner were kind and friendly! We had bibimbap, soft tofu stew, and tteokbokki, and all three were delicious! I also really liked that the tableware was clean !! I hope many more Korean and foreign customers come and enjoy the food!!! I wish you great success :)

we missed having Korean food after a week of traveling so stumbled upon this place. It felt like home cooked Korean food and perfectly satisfied our cravings - for two people we ordered 4 dishes (kimchi jeon, kimchi jiggae, bulgogi, and jaeyook bokkeum) and loved all the dishes. Service was 10/10 as well - highly recommend!

I visited twice during my 3-day stay in Florence~ It's delicious~ The kimchi stew, soft tofu stew, spicy beef soup, and spicy stir-fried pork all taste just like Korea👍🏼 The owner is Korean, so they are incredibly fast~~~ The food comes out in a flash~~~ It's a place with great food, a great atmosphere, and a warm, friendly vibe🍚

Food was below average from a Koreans perspective. I had never been to a Korean restaurant, where I had to order and pay for side dishes like kimchi. The place was hot and humid.
