01/03/2026: We went to Trattoria da Gino for lunch on a Sunday, intrigued by the many positive reviews on Maps. Around 11:30, I called to ask if there were two seats available, and they very kindly confirmed the availability. We were already there by 1:00 PM.
We started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses: a generous, beautifully presented, and truly delicious dish.
For our first course, we chose the pasta "Gino" style, a unique and very successful dish, enhanced with excellent porcini mushrooms.
For our second course, we had a second course of artichokes, cooked as only artichokes know how: flavorful, tender, and truly exquisitely seasoned.
Even though we were already full, we couldn't resist dessert. The house tiramisu was a perfect choice: creamy, balanced, and very enjoyable.
To finish off, in addition to the coffee, I also ordered a half-liter of Barrique grappa, a perfect accompaniment.
All this was accompanied by a half-liter of local Cesanese and a bottle of water.
The final bill was €100 for two, perfectly in line with the quality, quantity, and atmosphere.
A tip: it's best to book on weekends, as the place tends to fill up quickly.
An authentic, sincere, and well-run trattoria. We'll gladly return.
