The restaurant is a little gem in a historic building right in the city center. The atmosphere is beautiful, like that of a private club, but with the warmth of a friendly and cheerful staff. A generous cover charge, a welcome glass of wine, delicious bread, and a small pastry to finish. The food is traditional Piedmontese, ranging from good (veal with tuna sauce) to very good (ravioli del plin) to exceptional (fillet Rossini with foie gras and lamb shank). The wine list is expertly selected—a good choice, but not overwhelming (so we enjoyed it). The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, with many self-portraits and a very fitting background music. A truly wonderful experience.

Absolutely Exceptional – A Truly Special Place We visited Ristorante Circolo dei Lettori today to celebrate birthday, and it turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The moment you walk in, you feel the uniqueness of the place – authentic, full of history, charming, cozy, and wonderfully warm. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely motivated; you can feel how proud they are of what they do. Their recommendations – both food and wine – were absolutely spot on. And the food… simply fantastic. Every dish was super tasty, beautifully prepared, and perfectly matched with the wines suggested. Overall, an amazing experience that we will remember for a long time. Professional service is that which maintains decorum even under pressure (remember, this is a restaurant, not an operating room). This wasn't the case with the gentleman in a suit, the head waiter (with the beard), and, to a lesser extent, the sommelier. Words fail me when it comes to the younger woman who served us with a smile throughout our visit. She was a true service professional. The restaurant is located in a stunning palace, and the restaurant itself is very welcoming, intimate, and classic. The food. The starters were excellent, though not groundbreaking. But I must emphasize the quality, as exemplified by the octopus. The risotto with Piedmont cheese and pear was a delightful surprise—a delightful mix of quality and flavor. The caramelized dessert was superb. It's a shame I can't give it a higher rating, but I believe it's important to know how to conduct oneself and understand the responsibilities of one's position. Highly recommended.

Paintings, gold, fabrics, and details create a refined, almost D'Annunzio-esque ensemble. The tables are tastefully set, and the distance between them is carefully considered to ensure pleasant privacy during conversation. ATMOSPHERE Relaxed, composed, polite. No noise: you find yourself surrounded by respectful and curious people, as if the environment itself were an invitation to calm and culture. MENU AND FOOD QUALITY The quality is top-notch. Each dish is a symphony of perfectly harmonized flavors. And since we're in a place dedicated to readers, I like to compare each course to a novel: a coherent, elegant story that flows to an inevitable happy ending. From the cooking to the plating, everything speaks of care, sensitivity, and gastronomic mastery. SERVICE Impeccable. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and always ready to offer clear and precise explanations of the dishes about to be served.
