We found Ciccio Pennello online and decided to try it, given the excellent reviews and the photos of the very inviting dishes. A more than good choice: a quick but delicious lunch that, after a three-hour drive, had us leaving with great enthusiasm. I want to return at a more leisurely pace and better sample the variety of cuisine and wines. Great parking, ample space, smiling and very friendly staff, excellent value for money!!!

Il locale c’e’ stato consigliato da un amico..sono felice di averlo ascoltato.ottima accoglienza, disponibilita’ e gentilezza..abbiam preso antipasto e primo ed erano ottimi..ci ritornero’ per poter assaggiare questa volta la carne

11/07/2025: An experience not to be missed if you love special tastings and an unsurpassed menu. You'll be welcomed by knowledgeable and welcoming staff in a highly refined location, nestled in the charming center of Borgo San Lorenzo.
09/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my wife, trying the tasting menu: carefully prepared dishes, well executed and with interesting combinations. You eat really well, with quality raw materials and a cuisine that demonstrates technique and personality. However, the experience was partly penalized by an important aspect: there is no real wine list. You can only drink from the labels selected by the staff, without the possibility of independent choice. A limitation that weighs, especially for those who like to build their own food and wine journey or want to compare themselves with a wider selection. A format that has potential, but that deserves a review, at least from this point of view.

06/06/2025: We ate here twice in the last week. The appetizer plate is amazing, and the rest of the food is also highly recommended.
29/05/2025: Truly fantastic atmosphere, relaxing and very well cared for in the smallest details. Excellent table service, and we ate very well! We recommend this family-run trattoria immersed in nature to anyone, and it is absolutely worth it!
