For Chinese food lovers this is a great place. The food is of good quality, it is the best in the area. The place is a little dated and perhaps too large for the users, but it is clean. The extraction system is a bit lacking as it allows the typical smell of Chinese food to pass from the kitchen into the dining room. Generous portions also for takeaway. Kind and fast. Street parking a little difficult in the city center. Advised.

Il migliore ristorante cinese della città da tanti anni (prima era all'incrocio tra via Fabrizi e via Dante), personale molto simpatico a partire dal cameriere che tanto ha disturbato altri recensori e andando avanti con la ragazza cinese che sa cosa consigliare a chi ha voglia di qualcosa di nuovo. Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile, no frills. In alternativa si può sempre andare in uno di quei ristoranti tutta forma e zero sostanza di cui la città è piena.

The location is excellent, the price is equally good, but the food was not fresh, we went for lunch and in reality the food tasted like last night's. But let's return for dinner, it will surely be fresh

Old school Chinese. Excellent and plentiful dishes. A la carte menu with the old prices. Nice and friendly staff!!

Ristorante Cinese Hai Yen

28/01/2025: It was the first Chinese restaurant I frequented in the 90s. A decent dinner would be better to focus only on Chinese cuisine to make it more special. Friendly and helpful staff.
17/10/2024: I had eaten here before, once for dinner and once for lunch. My boyfriend felt sick, I didn't, but I remember the bad taste of some shrimp. Today I returned for two quick dishes: salad with prawns (some prawns had the same problem) and ravioli (the flavor inside was good, less so than the ravioli itself). On my friend's plate there was an almond chicken with 5 almonds. The chicken is good. In short, the restaurant is beautiful, large, furnished. Quiet service and still cheap prices, but in terms of quality it is a bit difficult for some dishes.
