Dopo anni di tentativi siamo riusciti a prenotare una cena. Luogo incantevole, una zona di Courmayeur che poco si conosce. Cibo eccezionale, materie prime eccellenti. La mamma, Sarda, si dedica alla pasta fatta in casa ed ai fogli. Un team di cuoche perfeziona gli altri piatti. Ottimo servizio e proprietari presenti in sala con mille attenzioni. I returned to Chalet Plan Gorret after years of absence (at least 7/8 years). The magic of the place hasn't changed a bit, maybe it's improved. I have never stayed at the Chalet so I will limit myself to reviewing the restaurant. The service in the room is precise and accurate, the waiters are extremely professional and polite. Paola and Nicola are incredible hosts, they immediately make you feel welcomed and pampered. The menu is very interesting - a sort of Aosta Valley/Sardinian fusion - and well executed, the portions are generous, you won't leave hungry! The wine list is extensive and offers interesting wineries. Part of the restaurant is outside on the terrace in front of the entrance with a very well-kept and very beautiful garden to the side, where you can enjoy the last glass of wine overlooking the stars. Like years ago I had a great time!! Hoping to return soon, I highly recommend this magical place!

Stunning chalet, just above Courmayeur. Impeccable cleanliness, location and typical wooden furnishings, elegance and care of the rooms, garden where you can relax after an intense day of walking, free parking space, room with a view of Mont Blanc, fairytale wooden balcony, all truly enchanting. Let's move on to the food: breakfast from a 5 star hotel, sweet, savory, homemade cakes (I underline that I had just mentioned on the phone that I am gluten intolerant and every morning they made me find a fresh gluten and lactose free cake), the presence at breakfast by Giovanni, a true gentleman, professionalism of the highest level, ready to satisfy every customer request, and always available to give advice on food and location. Dinner is something special, wonderful, a unique experience, the Sardinian dinner, I think the only example in the world of the perfect union between Aosta Valley and Sardinian traditions. Paola, the owner, magnificent and magnetic, presents the dishes with the very high level of cuisine she offers and all the passion that has led this restaurant to be a point of reference for the entire region and beyond. We will return, to truly experience a holiday of tranquility and peace (soundproof rooms, total quiet, no noise from the street, few rooms, all in wood). An unforgettable place. If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars I would. Thank you all for the hospitality and well-being you gave us, and a special thank you to Giovanni, who prepared fresh eggs for us every morning with a good morning dedication in different languages, it's the little things that make the difference. Compliments! We stayed here for 5 days.

The place is magical, the owners are fantastic and the people who work there are always friendly and available.
