Ristorante Chalet Don DIego In Grottammare

Why ruin a good dinner with service? My friends and I had dinner with the set menu. I found the food quality to be good, with some very interesting dishes. A good selection, especially for the price. It's a shame, however, that the service was rushed to say the least. The dishes were served one after another, until the risotto arrived, which was brought to us just as we were finishing our last appetizer. I understand that with the set menu, they try to optimize kitchen activity. I also understand that we were 15 minutes late. However, if this is the restaurant's philosophy, I recommend providing precise information about the maximum arrival time. It's truly a shame not to be able to fully enjoy the delicious food. I should point out that no waiter was rude; they simply followed the instructions given. And inevitably, they too were affected by the rushed service, occasionally forgetting a few requests (nothing serious).

Delicious food at a reasonable price, unfortunately only available by reservation today. The service could be improved, as they initially denied the possibility of eating spaghetti with tomato sauce.

We had dinner on a Saturday night at this restaurant with a couple of friends who recommended it to us. Our table was in the garden but there is the possibility of having tables adjacent to the beach. There are also umbrellas so it is possible to spend a day at the beach and have lunch directly there. The dinner proposal is a fixed menu consisting of various appetizers, a first course and two tastings of second courses. Right portions, fresh and well-cooked fish. The menu includes drinks and dessert. Everything perfect and very fair price. Truly a discovery ... I recommend it

The Don Diego Restaurant in Grottammare was a pleasant discovery. Located directly on the sea in the middle of a mix of aromatic plants (for our and the chef's joy) it serves fresh fish well cooked and at a reasonable price. The staff is kind and smiling. You can appreciate the view of the beach and the wonderful sea. Recommended.
