We chose this restaurant from Google reviews. It's more upmarket and modern than the usual trattoria/pizzeria. The service was exemplary from start to finish. We shared a side salad to start then I had the grilled octopus and my husband had the classic carbonara. All the dishes we chose were delicious. We were given a very good quality oil and balsamico for the salad, and a black pepper mill and salt without having to ask for it! It's slightly pricier than other restaurants around, but this was reflected by the modern decor, the service and the quality of the food. However, there isn't a cover charge or a service charge. They don't offer gf pasta or pizza but that wasn't what I wanted so that was ok. The waiter/owner (?) was also very apologetic that he could only offer me some gf crackers as they don't have gf bread, but again, not an issue for me as I don't want bread (or crackers!) as that fills me up before I've even started! We would definitely come back, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Affordable restaurant in the immediate centre of Venice. Staff are incredible, what was supposed to be a simple lunch turned into a unique experience. Highly reccomended.

A super friendly welcome! Excellent. First time I've ever eaten a whole pizza!! Even the sidewalks, as they say in French! There were three of us. I had the anchovy and tuna pizza, very good!! Another detail: no extra charges or anything.
