We had lunch at this restaurant after speaking with and making a reservation with the owner's very kind niece. It's located in the center of Frascati on a less touristy street. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, as is Yegle, the owner and chef, who normally takes care of everything! We sampled all the appetizers (from fresh cured meats and cheeses to small dishes like curry lentils and chickpeas with truffle sauce and cream) and several first courses, including bucatini alla amatriciana, carbonara, and fettuccine (handmade by Yegle) with wild boar. All the dishes were well-prepared and clearly show a great deal of passion. To finish, we ate a delicious ricotta cake (also beautifully made by Yegle). We also enjoyed the coffee, served in very charming vintage cups. We plan to return to try the main courses as well! Definitely recommended for those who prefer a family atmosphere rather than formal restaurants where you rarely feel like a guest. We were also all pleasantly surprised by Yegle's sweet smile! A small backstreet restaurant in small-town Frascati that really delivers quality food - well sourced and cooked with style. My Lamb Scottadito was crisp, crunchy, meaty and hot, just out of the oven, and accompanied by crisp oven roasted potatoes. Fine lamb, done right. A starter of lightly fried zucchini was a surprise, crispy, tasty, salty, and great with my beer. Lovely restaurant, lovely people. Recommended.

I discovered this restaurant by chance, unfortunately it is a bit hidden and therefore not very popular, I promised myself to return several times as we had a great time, excellent preparation of meals, good value for money, kindness, cleanliness, wi-fi, I highly recommend it

The owner, Yegle, is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located in the heart of Frascati and can be easily reached on foot in just a few minutes. Yegle's cuisine is simple but very good; the portions are generous and the dishes are traditional. We had a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses as an appetizer, two first courses (carbonara and cacio e pepe), and one dessert, all for less than €50 for two people. Excellent value, highly recommended!
