It’s a wonderful place, the food is very tasty, it’s quiet and peaceful here, I recommend it to everyone!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a little away from the active strip along the beach but it’s authentic with great selections. Our server was very Italian and we do not speak much Italian and she was amazing trying to help us understand everything. The food was unique and different. And the house wine was fantastic. Good price point too for everything. Would definitely recommend.

Really excellent cuisine, the owners very nice, helpful and very Roman!!! Prices more than fair, clean, spacious place.... I recommend eating Roman cuisine..... In short, I had a really good time!

Simple environment, located in a small street parallel to the seafront. The owner of the place is cheerful, helpful and very welcoming. You can choose typical dishes from Roman cuisine or Ligurian cuisine. The young chef is available to accommodate customer requests. We were very satisfied, all the dishes we tasted were excellent! Homemade desserts included! I recommend it!

Ci ha notevolmente stupiti, locale a conduzione familiare tutti molto accoglienti e gentili anche nei confronti dei bimbi. La vera cucina romana, tutto molto buono ci torneremo sicuramente!!

19/07/2024: Di passaggio da Cava dei Tirreni ci fermiamo "Da nonna Maria". Cucina romana semplice e squisita. Personale simpatico e presente. Conto onestissimo!
18/07/2024: A very characteristic place, unique in its kind of Roman cuisine in Salerno, warm and welcoming, with fast and friendly staff. The starters are excellent, I recommend the chicory and the cold cuts plate. The carbonara is good and really similar to the one eaten in Rome, but I recommend paying the small extra price to have more bacon. The porchetta is really tasty and crunchy on the outside. The artichokes alla giudia are absolutely worth trying, this dish is also very similar to the one eaten in Rome. The desserts are also good. The prices are good, considering that the Salerno average is very high, compared to the quality they offer. I don't give 5 stars for the environment, despite it being a very nice rustic house, only for a slight background noise, probably due to the crowding and height of the rooms. We will return with pleasure.

20/08/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch here and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The food is simply exceptional with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that enhance the flavors of the local cuisine. Each course was a tasteful discovery, from the first to the last bite! The owner is a welcoming and warm person who immediately makes you feel at home❤️ The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to recommend the perfect dish or the right wine to accompany it. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar, so if you are looking for a place to eat well and immediately feel at home, Hosteria la Fraschetta di Padre in Figlio is the ideal choice!!!!!
