Beautiful building, excellent restaurant, covered parking available

Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly. The lake-view room deserves an extra star: spacious, bright, and very welcoming. The wellness area is also accessible via a dedicated elevator. Very comfortable and relaxing, with plenty of loungers around the indoor pool, a well-equipped sauna, and a Turkish bath. The breakfast was generous and plentiful, with special attention paid to gluten and other intolerances. We missed out on time for our vacation. Very helpful staff. The restaurant is worth trying. I'll be back as soon as I can, especially to explore the summer garden with its outdoor pool. Highly recommended.

A very clean and welcoming hotel just steps from the lake, though a bit isolated; the room was comfortable. I was quite disappointed with the spa. I expected it to be larger, and the indoor pool wasn't heated (or at least it wasn't heated very much), but the real problem is that children are allowed in. I understand it's not the staff's fault if parents are rude, but I came to relax, and instead I spent two afternoons surrounded by kids who made noise, ran around, splashed everywhere, played in the hot tub, and dived into the indoor pool as if they were at any water park, without ANYONE intervening. A spa isn't a place of recreation; in a place where silence and respect for those seeking peace and relaxation are generally prevalent, I believe entry should only be granted to those 16 and older. On the other hand, the therapist who gave me the deep tissue massage was fantastic. The restaurant and the menu are fabulous, and kudos to all the staff for their kindness, courtesy, and professionalism.

Very nice hotel, excellent service, very abundant breakfast, super friendly staff

We stayed at Hotel Acquaviva del Garda for three nights. The view of Lake Garda was excellent, and both the spa and the pool were quite nice — simple but pleasant, with plenty of space and bubbles for everyone. Still, considering that the hotel focuses on spa and water experiences, they felt a bit basic. We had a lake-view room, which was beautiful, but the hotel was quite expensive — around €300 per night for two adults and a 6‑year‑old child. It was roughly twice the price of other places around New Year (after Christmas). Maybe it would’ve been cheaper without the lake view — next time we’ll probably skip it, since there’s a lovely rooftop terrace for guests with a great view anyway. We also booked the New Year’s Eve dinner. The main menu was €120 — at first we thought it was for all three of us when booking online, but it turned out to be per adult. The dinner itself was fine: the food was tasty, though the whole event lasted from about 8 p.m. to almost 11:30 p.m., and most of the time we were just waiting for the next course. Still, everything was delicious, and the live music for the whole four hours was a nice touch. We only expected a small New Year show at midnight — and that part never happened. What really disappointed us, though, was the “children’s” dinner. For our 6‑year‑old it was around €60, but we were just given the regular kids’ à la carte menu, where dishes cost about €10 each. Even with dessert, our total came to about €32 — it really felt like we were overcharged for the child’s meal. Drinks also weren’t included, which is understandable, but still, the total dinner cost us around €350 — quite excessive for what we got.

Nice, spacious room with a lake view. It's a shame about the spa, which has potential, but the pool water isn't warm enough and the room isn't adequately heated. Breakfast is good, with a wide selection.

Beautiful room, large and clean. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is good. The only drawback is the spa pool; the water is decidedly cold, and I find it questionable whether children too young to manage their bladders are allowed in the pool.
