Ristorante Canto di Maggio In Impruneta

We chose this facility for our daughter's 18th birthday, recommended by a friend who runs a farm in the area. Perfect organization, excellent all the services and food, enchanting place, with a wonderful view of the Certosa and Florence. The kids spent the afternoon in the pool (large, with gazebo etc.) and the evening in a secluded annex that allowed them to be free, without being disturbed or disturbing! (despite the music) This solution also allowed us parents to dine there at the restaurant without being seen and therefore embarrassing the young people. Courtesy, availability, professionalism, great friendliness (special mention and jury prize to Cesare for his engaging friendliness). Thanks to Andrea because we have rarely had the opportunity to encounter such professionalism and kindness while remaining absolutely informal. He fulfilled our every wish, contributing to an evening that will remain in our hearts, our daughter's and all the guests (young and old) for a long time. Very pleasant cuisine with some peaks of excellence (e.g. pici cacio & pepe) The quality of the food and drink is quite high, the service is informal but attentive. And finally the beauty and charm of the place, of the structure (ancient villa annexed to the convent and the church) immersed in the wonderful hill above the Bottai. Finally, the quality/price ratio is another element to highlight. I think I'm not wrong if I think that you can't find anything better for the amount paid. A heartfelt thanks to Andrea, Cesare and all the others. We will return to be pampered....

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per il 18mo compleanno di nostra figlia, segnalata da un amico che gestisce un agriturismo in zona. Organizzazione perfetta, ottimi tutti i servizi ed il cibo, posto incantevole, con meravigliosa vista sulla Certosa e su Firenze. I ragazzi hanno trascorso il pomeriggio in piscina (grande, con gazebo ecc) e la serata in una depandance appartata che ha consentito loro di essere liberi, senza essere disurbati né disturbanti! (nonostante la musica) Questa soluzione ha permesso anche a noi genitori di cenare lì al ristorante senza essere visti e quindi creare imbarazzo ai giovani. Cortesia, disponibilità, professionalità, grande simpatia (menzione e premio speciale della giuria a Cesare per la coinvolgente simpatia). Grazie ad Andrea(gestore-socio dell'attività) perché raramente abbiamo avuto modo di incontrare tanta professionalità e gentilezza pur restando assolutamente informali. Ha esaudito ogni nostro desiderio, contribuendo ad una serata che resterà per molto tempo nei cuori nostri, di nostra figlia e di tutti gli ospiti (giovani ed adulti). Cucina assai gradevole con qualche picco di eccellenza (es. pici cacio & pepe) Qualità del cibo e del bere piuttosto elevata, servizio informale ma attento. E per finire la bellezza ed il fascino del posto, della struttura (antica villa annessa al convento ed alla chiesa) immersa nella meravigliosa collina sopra i Bottai. In ultimo, il rapporto qualità prezzo è altro elenento da rimarcare. Credo di non sbagliare se penso che non si trovi niente di meglio per l'importo pagato. Grazie di cuore al gestore-socio Andrea, Cesare e tutti gli altri. Torneremo a farci coccolare....

Clean rooms, beautiful place, delicious food. I recommend!!!

Very nice hotel in a good location, where you can see Florence and the Duomo. Very good breakfast. A few kilometers in the car that you leave in a parking lot and from there you can reach Florence by tram. Very practical, economical, perfect. Very good value for money.

The staff was great, breakfast was good. Cesar who helped us was friendly. (Give him a tip and he will call you Don <insert last name here >) lol A good place to stop to visit Florence specially when you’re driving through. Rooms were spacious old but classic “Italian Villa” or “the godfather” vibes of that’s what your looking for. Old church which is now a vineyard, it’s very quiet area and a lovely view of Florence. Perfect place to stay if you have a car and further away if you don’t want to deal with noisy streets inside the city.

Très bel hôtel d'où l'on devine (de notre terrasse personnelle) la vue sur Florence, el Duomo..Vue magnifique; de cet hôtel, 10 minutes pour rejoindre la station de Tram que tout le monde utilise pour rejoindre la vieille ville. Très pratique! Se loger dans Florence, à moins d'y aller à pied depuis la gare est impossible, impensable! Très bon petits déjeuners (jus de fruits, pancake, oeufs brouillés, céréales...), hôtel original, sympathique, intéressant au niveau du prix, accueil convivial. Si nous revenons dans cette ville (où il y a beaucoup trop de touristes!) ce serait dans cet hôtel!

I love everything about this place!!! The rooms, the view, the food. It was all absolutely perfect!!

This place is a great value to its price if you drive and prefer to stay somewhere quiet and have territory views, super beautiful quiet and very relaxing. The rooms are huge and the hallway is also super nice to sit and have a chat with friends, the breakfast was very well prepared especially the eggs - very nicely done! The coffee here is also super flavorful. Only thing to be aware is you have to have a car to be able to get here, also, we run into an accident scene at a one way narrow country road, so it took some frustration and courage to be able to drive out of the area, so a small car would be a better option when come to here.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Villa Castiglione! We had a great time. Heartfelt thanks to Andrea for the organization but above all thanks to Cesare and Costanza for the service provided and for their availability. See you soon

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights (non-consecutive) between Christmas and the end of 2024 and we had a very good time. Colorful, original and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Tea maker available. Small bathroom but it served its purpose. Temperature OK. Abundant and good sweet and savory breakfast. Lots of parking space. 15-20 minutes from Florence, therefore very convenient, even if the road leading up is steep and very narrow: you need a good eye and a cool head. You can enjoy a fantastic view of Florence from here. Paid around €60, which makes it excellent value for money
