Amazing gluten free pasta (not on the menu, but they have it)!! The best one I had for 5 days in Rome :) Great house white wine and the best service! Highly recommend.

We had our small wedding lunch here in April 2012. It was lovely and the kind of lady of the house gave us this lovely little jug to take away with us. We still use it at breakfast everyday here in Tenerife.

One word of advice, come here hungry! Well-served portions, while feeling like I'm dining at a family home, food was cooked out perfection, the service fantastic, many thanks to Francesco, who was amazing and even gave us an extra serving of dessert!

The best restaurant I have been to during my stay in Rome. The service and quality of the food has been unbeatable. Without a doubt, if I have the opportunity to return to Rome, it will be a place I will return to for sure.

I gave it a rating of 4.2, but after eating it I felt it was a little better, so I gave it a 5. We ordered grilled seafood, pasta, and salad, and they were delicious. Above all, I'm happy with the very reasonable price. The handsome young waiter was also very nice.

Cannavota es una ostería romana histórica en el barrio de San Giovanni, a pocos pasos de la Basílica de San Giovanni. He estado viniendo aquí ocasionalmente durante muchos años, y durante mi reciente visita, me alegré de ver que la calidad se ha mantenido tan buena como siempre. El restaurante sirve platos tradicionales romanos y también tiene una buena selección de opciones de pescado. El ambiente interior es rústico pero acogedor y tranquilo, por lo que es un gran lugar para disfrutar de un almuerzo o cena relajante. La comida está bien preparada y agradable, a pesar de que el menú se adhiere a la tradición sin mucha innovación. Pero honestamente, eso es probablemente lo que más aprecian los clientes habituales. Los precios son un poco más altos que el promedio para este tipo de lugar, pero tienen sentido dado el buen servicio, la gran ubicación y el entorno agradable. Definitivamente es un buen lugar para compartir una buena comida con familiares o amigos.
