Excellent food! Staff/Owners very friendly! Best food I’ve had while visiting Rome.

The signature shrimp was delicious, completely different from what I've had in Taiwan, and definitely worth trying. The seafood noodles were also very much to my liking, and the owner was friendly with a great overall atmosphere.

Hostaria Cannavota: Authentic Rome San Giovanni in Laterano, Saturday evening: we enter and are greeted by a wooden embrace, memories, and the scent of guanciale. A 1960s-style restaurant, rustic and lively, frequented by locals and the many VIPs in the photographs displayed, but everyone feels at home here. Our dinner: Explosive bucatini all'amatriciana, sweet tomato, crispy guanciale. Creamy spaghetti carbonara, obviously without cream, just pure tradition. Saltimbocca alla romana: tender, fragrant, and airy in the mouth. Long coffee, sparkling water. Total for two: €45. Adequate portions, top quality, friendly prices. Cheerful service, genuine smiles, warm bread right away. You leave full, happy, with Rome in your heart. Recommended for those who love authentic Roman cuisine.

I unexpectedly got a bonus on a website (you can see it in the photo) and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. The pasta turned out surprisingly good — rich sauce, perfectly cooked noodles.

The meat dishes are a bit tough, the portions are small, the price is high for the quality offered, it gives the impression that everything is made up.

A very nice place — the food was delicious and well-prepared, the pasta turned out just right: flavorful, perfectly cooked, and with a rich sauce. I also calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo attached to my review. It was super quick and convenient — I’d definitely recommend trying it! It makes tracking your diet really easy and helps you understand exactly what you’re eating.

Trattoria a un passo dalla Basilica di San Giovanni, ambiente accogliente e informale. Personale estremamente simpatico e gentile, si può dire che "ci si sente a casa...", Ottima cucina tradizionale, mi ha lasciato il ricordo di una bellissima serata
