Dining on the main square in Grosseto's beautiful old town, you might think you're going to get food aimed at tourists. At Ristorante Canapone, this is not the case. The food is authentic Tuscan fare made with love and the freshest ingredients. I felt like I had been asked into someone's kitchen and been served from pots of delicious home cooked food. A wonderful place to eat some really good local dishes.

This was our favourite restaurant in Italy! Really beautiful, simple food, obviously using quality ingredients. My husband & son enjoyed the beef ragu and the beef with potatoes. I am vegan & Beatrice was fantastic to understand and recommend what could be done for me. Superb food, setting and service, highly recommend.
