Lovely spot. Nice to have a table on the water. The food was lackluster. Beware also the upcharges - not only is bread not included as it has been so far in every other restaurant in Italy we have eaten in for the last 10 days, there is an unusual 18% service charge (as opposed to the typical 2-3€ coperto) AND a terrible hashed American music for which they may also charge (per the menu) but did not tonight. Also, forgot to say they never brought our wine!

We read many negative reviews. Did not see the staff person below so many referenced. We arrived earlier than our reservation that our brother-in-law made from the US before our arrival. Wine sommelier quick to the table to offer suggestions. View fantastic, staff attentive and helpful in any way asked. Pizza was great, atmosphere absolutely beautiful

This is our favourite truly Italian restaurant in Venice. The food is amazing and the staff are exceptional. The whole experience is 1st class. A real genuine taste of the best of Venice. Thank you Frank and the team, looking forward to seeing you again!

We had lunch there. The pizza was very good. The service was friendly. Ambiance right on the Grand Canal, beautiful view. Good value for money with a nice atmosphere.

We sat down as my mother wanted to listen to the live music. The singer is fantastic!! Wow what a voice! We ordered the pizza margherita which was really good. The only negative was being charged a 7 euro music fee in addition to the 16% service fee.

The views are great but the service is kinda grumpy. When you are then hit with a 16% service charge on your bill it leaves a bit of a bitter taste. The seating is a great way to enjoy the grand canal though. The €3 grab and go oysters are good too.

We came here for my parents anniversary dinner. My mom ordered the T-bone. The smallest steak was 70€. She ordered it medium rare. She even showed a picture of medium rare steak to the server to make sure it was understood. What they brought out was well done. Overdone. And they didn't let it rest so all the juices ran out immediately and it was dry and leathery. Just a complete waste of good beef. The other entrees were passable but nothing special. At least the wine was good. The service and the view were also good, but the food is not worth it.

28/07/2024: There are better places, no question. But food was perfectly fine, service was super friendly and super fast. Were there twice and would go again! We cannot understand the many catastrophic reviews.
