Ristorante Calogero Lo Presti In Bivona

Ristorante con la R maiuscola, piatti genuini e gustosi, si rivivono antichi sapori. La tradizione e la cordialità è di casa. Molta sostanza. Allora mi chiedo a che serve la forma? È vero l' occhio vuole la sua parte, ma un buon osservatore nota, a prima vista, nei piatti appetitosi il gusto degli chef stellati per eccellenza: "le nostre Nonne". Ottimo tutto.Bravi bravi bravi.

Place with simple and genuine cuisine. The raw material is of excellent quality and can be felt. Don't expect extravagant dishes or gourmet presentations because you won't find them, they cut to the chase here. Excellent cuts of meat (my son asked for an encore of his cutlet, and it is very rare for him to do so), homemade pasta with excellent seasonings, great courtesy and hospitality. The peculiarity that I recommend trying is the peach-based dessert (Bivona PGI) filled with a ricotta cream. At the end of the meal, a much appreciated bottle of Zibibbo (sweet wine) is left on the table which helps to preserve a sweet memory. The service is fast and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Really nice place, and the owners Calogero and his wife are fantastic people. Speaking of the food, everything is fabulous, cooked with care and knowledge of the trade. Last but not least, how can we not mention his peach with ricotta, delicious! Absolutely must try!

For me, these places should be classified as: "Italian cultural heritage" Essential places, courtesy and love for one's work, without frills or anything else. Ridiculous costs and excellent quality. Well done, well done
