Ristorante Brighella In Gropparello

It's been a long time since I've eaten so well! Delicious, authentically prepared dishes. I'll definitely be back.

The roaring fireplace made dinner even more satisfying. "Thursday Bortellina" and so it was: I'd never eaten it before, exquisite pizza dough made with flour and fermented water, strictly fried! A delicacy, accompanied by local cured meats and typical cheeses... not to be missed. The owner/cook was extremely courteous and friendly, the trattoria is family-run... we were very satisfied. The perfect dinner for those who love simple, authentic flavors.

Discovered on the recommendation of friends...we've already been back 3 times!! I'd call them "the inn of yesteryear"...a simple but authentic place.

The dishes were tasty, but the offer of only three choices per course was disappointing. Furthermore, the menu didn't specify a minimum portion for two people for the dish (pisarei e fasu—a local specialty, apparently from this restaurant), which I chose but not the other diners. The explanation was that the lengthy preparation process requires a dedicated person. Unfortunately, there were three people in the kitchen, one of whom was sitting outside the entire time. The restaurant was practically empty, and the other tables had only ordered pizza.

If you want to eat REAL Italian food you should stop here and enjoy.

The best pizza in the Vezzeno Valley, and the bortellina with cured meats is amazing.

A true family restaurant. The food is delicious. You can taste the care and attention to detail. We had porchetta, pasta filled with ricotta and spinach, and a delicious cotoletta (which Morena even flattened herself). We were the only ones there, which created a slightly unusual atmosphere. Morena made for a pleasant chat and helped us practice our Spanish. Otherwise, you'll need to use gestures if you don't speak Italian.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and found good food, modest but very welcoming environment, very kind staff, excellent value for money, special mention for new and very clean bathrooms! Highly recommended!
