A very "appetizing" restaurant for its original pizzas, excellent dishes, friendly service, and ambiance. I wanted to return, and it was once again a pleasant surprise. Always excellent!

A truly magnificent experience. The restaurant is beautifully maintained, and the owners, an extremely kind couple, make you feel immediately at ease. We went for lunch on a Saturday and had a wonderful time: the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a family feel that makes you feel right at home. We started with a typical Sicilian appetizer of caponata, anchovies, olives, a selection of cured meats and cheeses, arancini, mozzarella, and fried fish, all excellent quality. We then continued with a sesame tuna tataki with friggitelli, cavatelli (as per the menu), and a simply exceptional mixed fried fish, accompanied by freshly made mayonnaise. The panko breading ensures perfect crunchiness without weighing down the fried fish, which is dry and light. The details make the difference: even the fried shrimp, often overlooked even in high-end restaurants, is impeccably clean here. Lunch was accompanied by a truly delicious white wine, which deserves much higher recognition than its current price, but which the current market doesn't allow for as much value as it should, competing with much more prestigious labels. For side dishes, we indulged in a "sgarro" of French fries and an extra portion of caponata. We finished with a Sicilian cannoli made from a homemade wafer, truly delicious. The coffee was also excellent. In short, an excellent experience from every perspective. I will definitely return, perhaps with friends.

Choosing this restaurant is always a guarantee of quality and professionalism. Typical Sicilian dishes expertly prepared and elegantly served. A wide and excellent wine selection. I've been coming here for 20 years and my only regret is that it's so far from my home. One of the best seafood restaurants in the Como province.

What can I say... everything was perfect! From the first appetizer to the last sip of wine, you can taste the passion in every detail. The dishes are carefully prepared, tasty, and have that Sicilian touch that makes you want to return immediately. Rosario, the owner, is a wonderful person: always present, smiling, and always making sure everyone feels at home.

I was truly impressed by Borgonuovo: the warm atmosphere, friendly service, and cuisine that transports you straight to Sicily. I tried several dishes, and they were all delicious. Rosario welcomed us with great hospitality; you could tell he really cares about making sure we had a great experience. Congratulations!

Welcoming place and friendly service, but unfortunately the food disappointed us. We ordered the Sicilian appetizer for two: the arancini fell apart, the fried mozzarella had split open, the fried food was quite greasy, and the cured meats didn't seem fresh, so much so that we didn't want to try them. The tuna as a main course was decent, but the crème brulee was too soft. Overall, a so-so experience: a shame, because the quality-price ratio isn't adequate.

The food was really good, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was very pleasant and familiar, and there was parking in front of the restaurant! We'll be back 😊
