Ristorante Bell’Agio is truly one of the best restaurants we’ve ever experienced. What made it unforgettable was not just the amazing food, but the exceptional staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt both special and comfortable. And the food — absolutely outstanding. Every dish was crafted with care, using top-quality ingredients and full of rich, authentic flavors. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate they serve. Between the outstanding service and the incredible food, this restaurant stands out in every way. If you’re in Matera, do not miss Bell’Agio. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

We came for the first time in Matera and we decided to have lunch at Bell'Agio. It is situated in the historic part of the town with beautiful views over the streets of Matera. From the very first moment we were greeted by such a kind, hospitable staff - we instantly felt wonderful. we had pork meat, delicious pasta in tomato sauce, veal, all accompanied by the best prosecco I have ever tasted. to top it all, we were delighted to see the biggest menu for wines - the variety was impressive. All in all , we had a wonderful time, traditional, tasty food and the best company at Bell'agio. We recommend it 100%

Very nice and well-kept environment Very kind and attentive waiter. Average food, the spaghetti was a little hard for my taste, it wasn't cooked enough, the prices were a little high, 4 euros for a bottle of water seems like a lot to me I took 1 first course, water and dessert = 32 euros
