Isolated family inn on the heights of Lake Como, you have to drive carefully to get there but once you arrive it is a haven of peace. The rooms are spacious and wooded, the owners are charming, their son in the kitchen is very talented, I recommend.

What an amazing place, lovely people with a view over lake Como. Food is on a pricey side but absolutely worth it. One of the best dinners we had. I highly recommend it!

The venison with chanterelles and the guinea fowl with lentils are excellent. Sunny day on the veranda, very pleasant and quiet.

This is a great place to stay for those who like resorts on a mountain setting. The rooms are clean and were recently renovated. The service is great and friendly with the family owning this resort tirelessly working from early morning to late at night to serve the guests, always with a smile. The views are great and at night you can enjoy the sunsets over the mountains and then at night the glow of city lights by the lake. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the villages nearby. There are several communes nearby. If you chose this place be prepared for the narrow, steep roads with very sharp turns. The locals drive very fast on the middle of the narrow road but they are good at avoiding the cars in the opposite direction. Be prepared with encounters with buses and trucks going fast and taking the entire space of a turn with zero visibility. You can access Como and other nearby towns after descending to lake level.

We stopped off at this establishment and what a nice surprise! Everything is good, room, services, meals, nothing to complain about. We will happily return.

A gem was found at the end of a winding mountain road. A lovely family hotel with a panoramic view of Lake Como. Cozy rooms with a balcony. Experiential and very delicious food. The service is first class and friendly. Thank you very much.

You come here for the peace, the view, the food and the friendlies, Veleso in general is a great weekend escaped. The Bella Vista restaurant i would say is a must, if you are in the area, coming up here is worth the travel, the food is just amazing, the green risotto was my favorite dish, i want to come back just to try ot again. We had the "3 course easy" and a couple of drinks (a cocktail, some wine, beers), plus complementary snacks (every single item was delicious) and the price is reasonable, about 60€ pp total.
