Ristorante Bella Vista In Veleso

The last time I was there I didn't like the chicken with coconut cream. I wouldn't suggest chicken in a high-level tasting menu. I usually give it to my.dog For the rest everything is fine

The place is just wonderful! The lovely staff, the incredible restaurant! The only drawback is that it's really hot in the rooms, to the point where you can't sleep... Installing air conditioning wouldn't hurt.

We slept one night and had an evening meal. Very nice hotel with a magnificent view of Lake Como. The staff is very friendly and speaks French a big plus! Parking is reserved for customers. The meal was excellent and high standard. Thank you for this great experience 🥰 You have to like driving in the mountains and have a good driving experience the path is very steep, but that is its charm.

Location is really beautiful. Beautiful view over Lake Como. The service is also great, but the rooms......Somewhat dated, but no air conditioning...and that at a temperature (day in day out) of around 30 degrees or more. Now this is also clearly stated on the website, but then you do not assume that you will get an attic room on the highest floor, where all windows and doors were fully open around 2:45 PM to keep the temperature around 200 degrees.

What a beautiful, lovely restaurant. Felt like going to someone's home for a lunch. Great food, beautiful scenery and friendly hosts.

Siamo stati al “Bella Vista” la domenica a pranzo, una seconda volta dopo diversi anni. Ne conservavo il ricordo di un buon ristorante, forse un po’ caro. A distanza di tempo, confermo la prima impressione: pietanze raffinate e molto curate, personale stragentile. Il menu non è vastissimo, soprattutto per gli antipasti, ma degno di un ristorante gourmet. Per quello che abbiamo testato, meritano un encomio l’antipasto di zucca e pancetta, il risotto “del cavolo” (forse un pochino troppo al dente) e la coscia di faraona confit con lenticchie nere e anice stellato. Stellare anche il dessert, una cupola di cioccolato con cuore di marroni, nocciole e caramello salato. Un menu che tutto sommato rispetta la stagione, ancora fredda in particolare quest’anno. Il prezzo a nostro avviso è un po’ troppo alto, soprattutto in relazione alla scarsa generosità delle portate che, seppure ottime, rischiano di far uscire il cliente con la fame addosso. La location è sempre strepitosa, con vista che spazia sul sottostante lago di Como. La strada per arrivarci è sfidante, c’è solo da augurarsi di non incontrare nessuno dalla direzione opposta. Magnifici e verdissimi i dintorni, ideali per una passeggiata post prandiale.

Very good restaurant, reasonable price for the quality, the hotel is also very good with pleasant staff who speak several languages ​​:) I can only recommend! (Please note, the hotel is high up, you must have a car, there is parking on site)

The hotel: very warm welcome, staff able to speak many languages ​​including French and English. Impeccable room, wooden furniture which reinforces the family/traditional side of the hotel. Restaurant : Excellent service, very welcoming. Breathtaking view of Lake Como at both dinner and breakfast time. Excellent meal with very good value for money. I recommend, the drive up from Como takes around forty minutes, you have to hold on but the Restaurant and the hotel are worth it 😎

The food in here is amazing! We tried a bit of everything in the menu and it s the tastiest italian food we ever had. The spot is also calm with an amazing view, but you need a car to reach it.
