Unfortunately, the tuna was treated with too little care. Mint and lemon carpaccio without mint and lemon, just oil. Tuna alla carfortina was not very elegant. A word of advice: especially in the summer, I would bring water as soon as you sit down. The room had no view and curtained windows, so the salt water disappeared.

The atmosphere is welcoming upon arrival, elegant, but overall nothing special. The staff is kind, friendly, and young. Prices are slightly high, but the food is high-quality.

In Carloforte, you have to eat tuna; otherwise, it is a missed opportunity. Eating tuna at Osteria del Tonnara was the absolute best for us. The tuna tartare was tender and served with delicate oil and herbs. The tuna steak was beautifully rare on the inside and had a nice crust. The wine list provides the support that the quality of the menu deserves. And... don't forget to have dessert.

05/11/2025: Without a doubt one of Calasetta's most beautiful beaches. Its name refers to the salt flats behind it, which lend it beautiful colors, from pink to orange, and are perfect for relaxing walks. The beach has two entrances on opposite sides, both with parking. A sandy beach that invites you to dive into the stunning water. In the summer, one section is equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas, while the other is free. It's just as stunning in the fall, often even more so.
