Ristorante Be Quiet In Catania

Restaurant located in the center of Catania in the Piazza Stesicoro area, in a charming alley, adjacent to Via Etnea. The place is refined and with attention to detail. The exterior has an added value for its location and tranquility compared to the lively Via Etna located a few steps away. The food is of excellent quality and expertly cooked. Simple ingredients and selected and well-used raw materials make the dishes delicious and tasty. I had a first course with anchovies, breadcrumbs and fennel, a typical Catanese dish (spaghetti cu i masculina) which was truly, truly delicious. A simple but professionally prepared dish, rich in anchovies, not salted or peppered to cover the taste of the seasonings and with a reduction that looked like a cream. I will definitely be back just to taste them again! Then I had a second course, namely sea bass fillets with lemon, which were also excellent and cooked perfectly. Evo oil from the Murgo winery and local bread, all of high quality. Friendly staff and attentive service. Price in line with the proposed quality. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Catania.

While walking along Via Etnea, a lady approached and said "Come and try our award-winning carbonara". Convinced by this incipit, we decided to follow her and try this carbonara and more, overall rating 5/10, pasta with courgettes very smooth, courgette almost raw and pasta exaggeratedly al dente 4/10, pasta with cockles (dish of the day) changed from with tomato to plain, excellent choice, delicate but with good taste, creamy to the point right, improved by a drop of raw oil 7/10, now, the piece de resistance, the carbonara awarded "an important prize", honestly easily placed in last position in the top 10 carbonaras eaten so far in various places (Catania and beyond) greyish colour, very watery, very absent pecorino and bacon without flavour, not crunchy, practically the flavor was only black pepper 3/10. The only advantage of this lunch was the tomato bruschetta and caponata offered to us before the arrival of the aforementioned first courses (and I would like to point out, offers, honestly the only advantage of this lunch). Overall a nice place but the first courses are not recommended. (I attach photo of the carbonara)

Very nice service and delicious food. Grilled beef juicy and tender, delicious fries, sausages too, large portions, we couldn't fit in dessert. The waitress has a beautiful smile and takes care of the guests :)))

We sat down, they immediately helped us willingly, we were given a small portion of appetizer. They listened to our wishes, the food was very delicious, we ate carbonara. The cappuccino was very tasty.

In a town full of fantastic restaurants, this place is a gem. Service, food and atmosphere …just off via Etnea, tucked in a pedestrian way. The seafood soup is to die for 😉

Very nice and well looked after place. The owner is an exquisite person with whom it is truly a pleasure to have a chat... Ditto with the waiter who can advise you on both dishes on and off the menu. Intrigued by the fact that they were awarded by Trip Advisor for the best carbonara in Italy... We wanted to try it and I must say that it was really excellent... ditto also the pasta with clams, very good... They also offered us a very tasty caponata... They also have a great selection of wines… Well what can I say, we ate very well in addition to the pleasant company of the owner who entertained us with interesting speeches... If you want to eat an excellent carbonara in Catania, you already know where to go... You won't regret it... Let me know in the comments how you found it...

Ristorante sito al centro di Catania zona piazza stesicoro, in un affascinante vicolo, limitrofo a via etnea. Il locale è raffinato e curato nei dettagli. L'esterno ha un plus valore per la posizione e la tranquillità rispetto alla vivace via etnea sita a pochi passi. Il cibo è di ottima qualità e cucinato con maestria. Ingredienti semplici e materie prime selezionate e ben adoperate, rendono i piatti buonissimi e gustosi. Io ho preso un primo con alici mollica e finocchietto, un piatto tipico catanese (spaghetti cu i masculina) veramente ma veramente buonissimi. Un piatto semplice ma preparato in modo professionale, ricco di alici, non salato o pepato per coprire il gusto dei condimenti e con una riduzione che sembrava una crema. Ci ritornerò sicuramente solo per rigustarli! Poi ho preso un secondo, ovvero dei filetti di spigola al limone, anch'essi ottimi e cucinati perfettamente. Olio evo della cantina murgo e pane locale tutto di alta qualità. Personale cordiale e servizio attento. Prezzo in linea con la qualita proposta. Sicuramente uno dei migliori ristoranti di catania

Se siete alla ricerca di un ristorante che unisca piatti autentici e un'atmosfera accogliente, questo angolo nascosto in una viuzza di via Etnea, è il posto perfetto. La pasta alla carbonara che ho assaggiato è stata davvero deliziosa: cremosa, saporita, con il giusto equilibrio tra guanciale e pecorino. Si percepisce la qualità degli ingredienti e la cura nella preparazione. Un piatto che vale assolutamente la pena provare! Così come la caponata. Davvero molto gustosa Il personale è stato incredibilmente gentile e attento, creando un'atmosfera davvero familiare e piacevole. Ma ciò che ha reso questa esperienza ancora più speciale è stato il gesto del titolare, che ha regalato sia a me che alla mia amica, un rametto di vischio porta fortuna. Un pensiero semplice ma davvero significativo. La posizione del ristorante, sebbene un po' nascosta, è perfetta per una pausa tranquilla nel cuore di Catania.
