Ristorante BATTISTELLA In Portobuffolè

I happened to stop by for a simple lunch and ended up experiencing the best lasagna in the world. Given the chance, I would love to come back next time and enjoy a full-course meal.

The food was good, but hospitality is hard to find here if you are not of Italian descent. I have never felt so uncomfortable as a holidaymaker as I did here.

30 years ago, my wedding, Berto and his cuisine amazed the guests back then... Last night, my 50th birthday... Manuel welcomed us and pampered us as if we were his dearest friends.... From snails... to grilled meats... and fine wines... Everything was spectacular... You can't miss dinner here!

I stumbled upon it by chance, unfamiliar with the place, but the number of occupied parking spaces outside was telling. I was seated quickly, and waited a few minutes just to order, while my drinks were served immediately. Likewise, the dishes I chose (which were kindly recommended) were served with little wait. Excellent value, I highly recommend it!

A timeless experience in the heart of Portobuffolè. Battistella Restaurant is a guarantee of class and substance. We dined in an atmosphere reminiscent of times gone by, enjoying traditional Venetian dishes prepared with rare care. Excellent ingredients and a comprehensive, regional wine list. The service is timeless: professional, attentive, and never intrusive. An absolute must-visit.
