A timeless experience in the heart of Portobuffolè. Battistella Restaurant is a guarantee of class and substance. We dined in an atmosphere reminiscent of times gone by, enjoying traditional Venetian dishes prepared with rare care. Excellent ingredients and a comprehensive, regional wine list. The service is timeless: professional, attentive, and never intrusive. An absolute must-visit.

When we arrived at the 2nd pizza shift, the waiter warned us that there was no sausage, aubergines or burrata. It can happen this far. The pizza is fabulous, the atmosphere is friendly, but the organization is a bit tricky. It's only recently opened, so we'll have to wait a bit. However, when I return to Livorno, I'll be back.

A pleasant, family-run restaurant. Excellent food, accompanied by a wide selection of wines. Beautifully presented dishes and generous side dishes. Friendly, helpful staff with prompt service. The desserts are also good. Prices are moderate and reasonable. Highly recommended.

26/01/2026: I ate pizza and dessert, they are delicious.
31/12/2025: I've been familiar with the ambiance for a while, having worked for one of their suppliers. The mixed fried food is dry, not heavy at all, and very tasty. The pizza is very good: it's easy to tell the ingredients are carefully selected and high-quality (see, for example, the tomato sauce). The staff (reception, waiters, pizza chefs, kitchen) complement it excellently.

08/12/2025: Yesterday, for an anniversary, we went here with a couple of friends, and we were pleasantly surprised! A simple yet intimate and welcoming place, the dishes were carefully prepared, with beautiful, tasty seafood dishes. A trio of appetizers, followed by a delicious pasta with scampi for the first course, followed by three different types of fish for the second course: tuna, squid, and scampi. I would have added a side dish, perhaps a little polenta 🤗. And to finish, a super dessert: a slice of freshly made tiramisu. A top lunch!!! I also thank Katia for her patience, who served us lovingly and who even made us smile with the candle to turn 😂. And finally, I thank the manager, Antonio, who is a very friendly and nice person who made us feel at home. Thank you!!! See you soon! Elisabetta
