30/07/2025: The two girls (sisters and owners) are exceptional for their competence, friendliness, empathy with the customer 🧑🎓 They tell a lot BUT they also listen to a customer (perhaps an expert, like me modestly) very carefully, dialoguing: rare example of "improvement humility" 🍺 SUPER beers, honest prices (Livigno "helps") 💰 I will be back as soon as possible 👍👏🍺
21/07/2025: The experience started out not so well and ended... Well, I don't know.
We booked a table for about 15 people by phone a few weeks in advance, and everything was fine.
When we arrived in the evening, they told us (insistently, even) that they didn't have any reservations, even though we'd shown them the 2-minute call log.
They finally managed to seat us (since the place was half empty on a Saturday night).
A tiny table where even if we'd wanted to, 15 of us wouldn't have been able to sit.
They changed us to two separate tables, with the promise that they'd give us all a table as soon as it was free.
Exactly 5 minutes later, we changed tables again. Basically, we'd been there for almost 30 minutes and hadn't even seen a menu or ordered a drink.
Leaving aside the peanut shell mess (I don't know, maybe it's customary, personally, it disgusts me), I wanted to leave right away.
We decided to stay, and we ordered.
The drinks arrived after about another 20 minutes (I remember, the place was half empty). Empty, besides ours, there were about 4 tables)
The only (perhaps) positive note of the evening was the food, which arrived almost immediately after the drinks and was truly excellent.
But the negative immediately returns when, when it was time to order coffees, we were told the machine was already clean and they couldn't make them for us (time 10:45 PM, supposed closing time 12:00 AM) while other tables were still eating.
Huh?
The service and overall cleanliness were truly terrible. The food was a saving grace, but honestly, with all the restaurants in the area, next time we'll go elsewhere.
