We had breakfast at the bar. The atmosphere was friendly. Breakfast was good.

I had a cappuccino, perhaps one of the best in Ossola in terms of quality/price, the staff were courteous and very kind.

We stopped for lunch on an unexpected and unplanned break, and...the decision was never a better one! Everything was delicious in an "old-fashioned" restaurant with polite and friendly staff. I highly recommend it to those who value substance and authenticity over appearance. I'd like to say we'll be back, but it's definitely out of the way from Pavia.

We came for lunch during the Nativity Scenes on the Water festival. It was a last-minute decision, drawn in by the reviews, and we definitely didn't regret it. The menu is limited to a few dishes, but they're all inviting. We couldn't decide what to order! For starters, we had the homemade tagliatelle with venison ragù, delicious; you could taste the homemade flavor, and you could taste the venison in the sauce. In the land of toma cheese, polenta and toma cheese were a must. The Bunet for dessert was a fitting conclusion. It was all accompanied by a quart of house red wine and water for about €40 per person. Service was quick and courteous. The atmosphere is a classic mountain village bar/restaurant/pizzeria, but well-kept.
