Ristorante Bar Pizzeria Maraucci In Napoli

Kind, helpful staff, maximum attention, great food.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. We ordered lasagna, which was truly delicious, and I can't fault the food. The waiter was incredibly nice and genuinely cared about the customer's well-being. Things only got awkward when we were finally paying. He informed us that the coperto added to the bill wasn't the same as a service tip, and if we wanted to give one, we had to pay cash. The waiter said we didn't have to add it, of course, and that there was no problem with that. We replied that unfortunately, we didn't have cash to tip him, and if we could somehow manage it with a card, we'd be happy to add something, because the waiter really did go over our heads while serving and took care of us. The waiter replied that it wasn't possible, and that we should just pay for the meal by card. We confirmed, and the waiter's smile immediately vanished. It was really obvious he was annoyed with us for not getting a tip. He didn't even look at us when we were escorted to the terminal, nor did he say goodbye. I've never seen someone so upset about not getting a tip. It's a strange rule that you can't add a tip to your card, and I don't understand why they even say we don't have to pay, and he understands.

We had dinner our first night in Naples, it was close to the apartment, food and service were good, we ordered lasagna and pasta and everything was very good, the price of the bottle from what I see is extended across all the bars, it is a common practice and paying for the service is the same.

This is my second time ordering pizza at this pizzeria-trattoria, and I have to say I still enjoyed it. The fact that it's open almost all day makes it a convenient choice. The area isn't the best, and it's not the ideal place to go in the evening, but for the pizza, it's definitely worth a visit. The prices are slightly higher than other nearby pizzerias, but the staff is friendly and the service is quick.

At first glance the surrounding neighborhood was concerning but as soon as Salvatore sat us at our table we knew we were in good hands. His recommendations were spot on. He talked me out of their fettuccine bolognese for a seafood and pasta dish that was incredible. The other four diners were also completely satisfied with their meals as well. Prices were what you should expect but in my opinion this spot is well worth the visit!

We happened upon it by chance, and instead, we returned the next day, and we will return again in the future, because it won us over, for the following reasons.........the food is quality, very well cooked, especially the fried pizza, which, taken in other places, for this reason I had doubts, I was not convinced and instead....to change my mind! I found it, crispy, not oily and above all digestible! Furthermore, the place is quiet, and not to mention the exquisiteness of the owner! If you may be interested, the reasons, for which, one goes to this place, then, you can go calmly!

The food was really good and inexpensive. Since the place looked expensive at first glance, we didn't sit down, rather we chose a take-away saving on cover and service charges.🤭

Sono stata a cena in questo ristorante collocato in una zona storica di Napoli. La simpatia del personale (riescono a passare dall'inglese al napoletano in maniera eccellente! ) la cucina dello Chef tipicamente partenopea, ma soprattutto il proprietario che ti accoglie facendoti sentire a casa ...il profumo di mare nei piatti , la qualità delle materie prime e la scelta dei piatti è sopra la media dei ristoranti del posto! Abbiamo preso polipetti alla Luciana, calamari fritti, spaghetto a vongole e risotto alla pescatora con un assaggio di filetto di Baccalà pastellato tutto accompagnato da un bel calice di Barolo , per concludere una delizia al limone...che dire, da tempo non mangiavamo piatti cucinati alla perfezione! Prezzo onesto, porzioni abbondanti, le foto parlano sole. Da ritornare
