I went to eat at the two lakes a short time ago, recommended by several people. When we arrived we immediately noticed that there was a bit of confusion and few waiters serving. We sat down and as far as the fish and meat menu we had ordered was concerned, everything was really very good. Tender meat and generous, good portions. Unfortunately our table was invaded by bottles of water and wine which were never taken away, we had to remove them ourselves at the end of dinner to eat dessert. They forgot to bring us clean cutlery, napkins and drinks. The service was really confusing and I didn't like it.

The locals go there to eat - and that's how it should be. People know each other, the atmosphere is very sober and there's nothing fancy on the plate - but good food! And especially for the prices, that's absolutely OK!

The food is very delicious. The service a little chaotic, although friendly. And the account..... What to say about the account? In the account they go 2 pizzas, 1 calzones, 2 risotto, 3 pasta dishes, a salad and a dish that we were not aware of ordering. 3 desserts, 2 beers and water...

My sisters and I were in town to attend the Andrea Bocelli concert on Friday 7.19.24. We were staying in Casciana Terme at the Albergo Roma Hotel. We came to this restaurant three times. The last time being the night before we left for the USA. The wine and pizza was delicious. The wait staff very accommodating. My sisters loved their pasta, especially their seafood pasta. I loved the guy with the white curly hair by the cash register 😘 ~ Dalia

08/08/2024: Excellent quality of food, rustic and very pleasant atmosphere.
05/08/2024: We enjoyed a well-cooked meal, everything was delicious. A shame we couldn't enjoy it on the terrace. The way to ask for a table, or wait outside, baffles me. We saw a lot of confusion when it came to offering a table, service and organization. But as I indicated at the beginning, the food was very delicious.👍🏻 They did not offer us dessert or coffee.. ice cream etc.. They were quite busy only on the terrace, they left us abandoned despite calling service repeatedly. A shame, the food is excellent… but the service is personalized if you book on the terrace. Portions of mini potatoes, well..., we'll see for next time, we will eat there again without hesitation.

15/12/2024: Excellent experience. Intimate and welcoming environment. Friendly staff.
28/11/2024: It's an informal restaurant, so you don't expect Michelin Guide service, however, here we're just above par... The food recovers. The food was excellent, I really liked the fish. Sore point: the sorbet, advertised as excellent and homemade, is a disappointment: liquid and full of Vodka. (Unpresentable). Overall there are positive things and others to review. 6+. I don't think I will return, there are better ones nearby.
