MUST of all our holidays in the Ledro/Garda area. Very good Carne Salada, both raw and cooked. Fabulous appetizer with their giardiniera and cured meats. Fair prices considering the quality of their raw materials. The girls on the staff are very kind and helpful. Large free parking and dogs are welcome.

Nice and welcoming restaurant, near the Varone waterfalls. Terrace with a view, on the Garda mountains. We ate well and the prices were normal. A round of applause for the service, especially for the waitress who served us.....always kind and polite, even if very young, the behavior towards the customers is to be rewarded. 5 stars, recommended

A large restaurant with ample parking. Excellent food, excellent and pleasant service, very attentive and fast. In this restaurant you can enjoy the famous "carne salada", a Trentino specialty, both raw and cooked. Large portions. The restaurant is located near the famous Varone waterfalls, which can be visited, I would say in the heart of the specific area of "carne salada", an area roughly delimited within the triangle Riva del Garda, Arco, Tenno. Very fair prices. Excellent quality.

Era da un bel po’ che mio marito mi aveva promesso di portarmi in questo ristorante poco fuori Riva, sito nel borgo di Varone e a pochi passi dove dalla celebre cascata. Finalmente, grazie ad una riunione di famiglia, ho avuto l’occasione di andarci - e ne valeva davvero la pena! Il ristorante offre specialità trentine cucinate con materiali di prima scelte, tutti rigorosamente fatti in casa: così il favoloso antipasto di salumi (da maiali di proprietà) con giardiniera e insalata russa freschissime, così i buonissimi canederli, così la superba carne salata, che potete gustare sia cruda che cotta, accompagnata da fagioli stufati. La carne salata, o carne salà, è una specialità trentina, ma mai l’ho mangiata così buona, e mai l’avevo mangiata cotta, quest’ultima una cosa che mi fiderei a fare solo qui o in altri ristoranti selezionati del luogo. Prezzo sui 35 euro a testa, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Importante: il ristorante ha orari di chiusura molto ristretti, che rispetta rigidamente, perciò è importante arrivare per tempo se non volete mangiare in fretta. È molto consigliata la prenotazione.
If you wish to enjoy the cuisine from Trentino, then you must definitely try this family-run restaurant in the town of Varone (in the outskirts of Riva del Garda), at a short walking distance from the famous waterfall. All the ingredients are of excellent quality and home made, or coming from the owners’ farm. As an appetiser, I had a plate of cold cuts, prosciutto salami etc, all coming from the owners’ farm, while the potato salad and the “giardiniera” (pickled vegetables) were home made; so were the canederli or knödeln (sort of gnocchi). The “salted meat” (carne salà), a typical dish from Trentino, was excellent: you may have raw, carpaccio-style (which is more common) or cooked, which I never saw and tasted: I had both, and accompanied the cooked meat with stewed beans. All at a very good price, around 35 euro per person. Notice: the restaurant has a strict policy about its working hours, so be sure you arrive at a reasonable time if you want to enjoy your meal in a relaxed way. Also, a reservation in advance is recommended.
