Trip to Monferrato, dinner at the Bandini restaurant, a remote and almost timeless place (this is a positive note). The food was good, perhaps I was expecting something more from the wine list given the wonderful (open) bottles displayed in the entrance hall. Professional and kind service. Must try again!

A place that creates that evening which is much more of a memorable experience than just "going to dinner". These are the small gems of Asti, Piedmonte and Italy on a whole. The host, the decor, the refined palate of the multicourses with acceptional wine off the adjoining hills of Casina Terra Felice. All for an agreeable price. Gratzie Mille.

Well-kept restaurant, friendly service. Interesting menu. Cuisine that is only apparently simple. Traditional dishes revisited without arrogance, respecting and enhancing the excellent raw materials used. The brilliant gazpacho in the summer is surprising... a unique experience!

A place truly out of this world, with vintage furnishings, 70s design and authentic memorabilia. Spacious tables and not too close together. A place that you don't expect to find in this area of ​​Asti, but easily reachable. The food is very well prepared, but I found the menu a little lacking in options. The raw meat is excellent, the fried brains a little less so. The wine offered by the glass was excellent.

The place is not very up to date from an environmental point of view, but the service retains an elegance of times gone by. Quiet place, intimate and pleasant atmosphere. A dinner that was relaxing as well as pleasant. Very good stuffed pasta and the veal with tuna sauce is also good. Really positive note for the dessert: the polenta from Asti was a dessert I didn't know and it surprised me a lot. One of those places where you want to return.

09/12/2024: Entrare in questo locale ricavato nei camminamenti di cio' che rimane del castello di Moncalvo è già un esperienza. I tavoli sono posizionati lungo tutti i camminamenti scavati nella torre e offrono un atmosfera accogliente ed entusiasmante in quante sono state anche ricavate alcune salette con lumi ricavati da bottiglie. E' enoteca ma ci sono piatti dii taglieri a pranzo mentre alla sera si aggiungono alcuni piatti tipici di semplice cucina monferrina accompagnati da bottiglie di piccoli produttori locali. Sicuramente uscirete contenti anche per la simpatia dei gestori e del personale che volentieri scambiano quattro chiacchere con voi.

04/12/2024: Spectacular location with views of the hills, spacious and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, we purchased the wine they produce from the cellar, explained exhaustively by Elisa, very competent and professional, an experience to be repeated, I recommend it to everyone.
26/11/2024: A more than positive opinion for the restaurant, very well organized despite being full on Sunday lunch. Excellent traditional Piedmontese food. Excellent wine produced by the owners. Remarkable cleanliness and service. Panoramic view of the Asti hills.
