Ristorante "Bagni-Ceriale" Bar In Ceriale

I've never eaten at a beach restaurant, but the person inviting us had decided to do so... I have to say the basics were there: I would have perhaps avoided too much fried sage in the stuffed anchovies and would have preferred tagliolini instead of scialatielli. By the way, my grandmother, a Genoese woman, used to bake anchovies stuffed with chard and other ingredients, leaving them whole. Are the "cigar-shaped" and fried ones a local variation?

Quick lunch on the seafront: We stopped for lunch at this beach, attracted by the variety and uniqueness of the dishes on the menu (clearly displayed on a blackboard along the promenade). The wait to order was just right in my opinion (about 5-10 minutes), considering the place was busy at the time. Furthermore, the manager served us with a professionalism and kindness that isn't always offered (especially at the end of the season in a touristy and crowded environment). We ordered a plate of trofie with pesto and a plate of ravioli filled with ricotta and lemon, topped with red shrimp tartare and julienned zucchini. I was a little skeptical about the fish dish, as we often end up eating disjointed dishes with ingredients that taste very bland, but I was completely wrong. Every flavor was enhanced and the combination was perfect. We were truly satisfied and didn't feel heavy (a sign of the pasta being well-cooked and the quality of the ingredients). A special mention also goes to the coffee, which was excellent: aromatic, full-bodied, and not burnt at all. A great end to an equally delicious meal! The prices are in line with the quality of the ingredients and current market prices! Summary: Highly recommended for a quick lunch or a longer dinner!

Great experience. I've been there several times, and what can I say? The food is truly delicious. Everything is delicious, especially the main courses and the raw seafood. Good prices, definitely worth a try.

This is our second year at Bagni Ceriale. Passion, friendliness, courtesy, organization at every level, empathy, and sharing with customers—everything exudes the desire and love they have for their work! For us, there are no other places!
