We had booked for a family dinner, but my daughter, at the last minute, decided she wasn't feeling well. We settled for takeout since we were staying at the residence near this wonderful restaurant. The care, meticulousness, and thoughtfulness of the chef and the wait staff were exceptional. They put together a superb takeout dinner for us. This is the difference between doing your job and loving your job. Congratulations to the entire staff.

Fabio Bonavia, a chef, a name, and an absolute guarantee.
For over 20 years, we've been delighting in his food and wine specialties.
It's impossible for me to rank them all; everything he creates, along with his talented kitchen and dining room staff, is a triumph of deliciousness and quality. Bonavia has embraced the philosophy of food prepared with both tradition and innovation.
But if there were any need, I'd recommend his "royal" mixed grill of fish and vegetables, but that was just one example. The desserts, of which Fabio is a specialist, are excellent.
The quality/price ratio is excellent. The wine list offers a wide range of choices.
Last but not least, the location.
The restaurant is on the sea, perpendicular to the renowned Gallinara Island. Highly recommended for any occasion.

We are 2 workers staying at the Sole Hotel where BABETTE IS. THE PLACE IS PLEASANT AND WELL-KEPT. We enter after work to ask for a table. A blonde lady welcomes us with a smile and kindly invites us to sit down, saying that her colleague would be arriving soon. Meanwhile, the waiter arrives, he looks us up and down as if we were plague-ridden, tells us to wait, comes back with a menu, showing us the prices, making it clear to us that we are leaving because they are not suitable for the place. Naturally, we would have gone to change, but since this arrogant and immodest person judges books by their covers, we preferred to leave. Thanks to the blonde waitress for her empathy and kindness.

I'm desperately searching for a flaw, a defect, a shortcoming... I can't give a full-star review for everything: the welcome, the location, the high-quality ingredients, the service... I'm afraid I won't be believed!
The welcome entrée, the small farewell pastry, and in between, the high-quality dishes... a seafood and mountain fry, or a mind-blowing saffron ravioli... and then the portions!!!! Not abundant... more! How wonderful to see people who love their work so much... well done!! The price? But what does the price matter with a dinner like this!! (In any case, absolutely in line with the high quality expressed!!) See you soon...

We had a midweek lunch on the veranda overlooking the beach, given the beautiful day. The food was excellent, especially the fried food, crispy and dry, just as it should be.
