My favorite place, 10 minutes from home... as a lover of meat and a true Tuscan in Lombardy... I couldn't ask for anything better! Keep it up, don't convert, stay the same, an osteria, but for connoisseurs!!

Excellent selection of meats.
Try the truffle tartare.
The staff is not pushy; you just sit down and enjoy.
The wine selection is spot on.
I opted for a good Piedmontese red.
I'll be back for a different aged wine tasting.

NI experience, excellent appetizers, good service, nice place. I was perplexed by the rib eye, I chose a Prussian, the guy brought it to the table raw so we could see it and say it weighed 1.4 kg. We immediately noticed an excessive amount of fat (as shown in the photo). Talking to Matteo, the very kind owner, he told me that that fat is eaten with lean meat 😳. The lean meat was already well marbled with fat and very tender, meaning it didn't need any more fat. Mattè, my friend, I challenge anyone to eat all that fat. So, paid for 1.4 kg and between fat and bone I ate 600/700 g? I'll go back to Matteo's but this time I'll choose the meat directly from the display.

If you come to Osteria Da.Ma., you come for the meat... And you know it right away because, as soon as you enter, you're greeted by a display case of dry-aged meat...
The place is simple and spartan, but that's fine because this is a place with substance.
The staff is extremely kind and composed of young people, who know how to guide and advise you in your choice.
We chose a splendid Piedmontese Fassona rib-eye steak, cooked perfectly rare (a word of advice: if you like your meat overcooked, this is not the place for you. The magnificent cuts of meat would be ruined) served on a slab of Himalayan pink salt, which, in addition to giving it just the right saltiness, also has the advantage of helping to retain the meat's warmth.
Of course, the choice of cuts and origins of the meat is vast and can satisfy all palates. The selection of cured meats is also very unique. They let us try a lightly smoked cow's ham, which was marvelous.
The wine selection is quite extensive, with wines from almost all over Italy (except for Campania wines), allowing you to create the perfect pairings with your food based on your personal tastes.
The price may seem high, but it's absolutely proportionate to the quality of the service and the restaurant's food and wine offerings.

This is our first time at this restaurant. The meat is DELICIOUS, tender, and flavorful; it's definitely worth a visit. The tartare (a typical Italian steak) as an appetizer is excellent, and the meat as a main course is delicious and well-cooked. The staff are friendly and professional. This is definitely our favorite place right now when we want to eat excellent grilled meat. Thank you!

Highly recommend this place! We had the classic steak, pasta with truffles, and spaghetti for our kids - the food was perfection! Especially the meat was amazing. The staff was also very nice and passionate. We would definitely come again. Grazie mille!
